Room was clean, staff was amazing, people in other rooms seemed to be partying and careless and neighbour hood was sketchy

The front desk gentleman at night was amazing very kind and funny. Daytime staff wasn't as chipper. Outside had alot of cigarette butts dirty and homeless people. The covers for the box spring were dirty. The payment was very inconvenient. Already paid through expedia but wanted my cc and tried to charge me different charges.

Staff were great, especially Lyka.

Front desk staff were excellent! Lobby was nice. Snack options beside front desk were nice. Disappointing that the pool was under renovation and was not clearly put on Expedia. (that I could see). Elevators are in bad shape and gave bad first impression. Rooms are clean but dark and gloomy. Beds are very hard. Hotel has potential but needs a makeover.

Didn’t feel safe. Not clean- towels had stains. Nothing worked (fridge, air, etc).

No continental breakfast which is expected nowadays.

Dirty hotel, bad rude service, small parking lot, homeless all around the hotel. Refused to stay there, actually booked a different hotel and left no refund was or voucher offered. Don't recommend at all.

Always a good place to stay. Card didn’t work first and had to go back to the front desk but no big deal.

The staff were kind and quick to help. But they didnt pay much attention to what was missing, like the empty shampoo and no towels. Aswell as what was there from previous people, like food in the fridge. There were matresses standing in the hallway-which is unsafe, and the room wasnt very clean. My wife was bitten by a bug in the room. Please pay more attention when cleaning rooms🙏

Great stay at Merit Hotel in Fort McMurray! Convenient location, friendly staff, good gym facilities, and indoor parking made my trip a breeze. Highly recommend!
