We stayed 2 nigths, during school break. Overall good stay. Some things were good and others a miss. The good: Friendly staff, rooms are cozy, dogs are allowed, outdoors activities are awsome. The not so good: Our room was not cleaned at all during our 2 nights stay. The restaurant (buffet style during that week) was totally chaotic, we had to wait in line for about 20 min to get our food . The food was expensive (52 $) for the buffet quality. The bathroom were tiny and need some renovation. Overall, with the outdoors, we have a good time, but not sure we will be coming back.

The outside activities are very nice

Beautiful getaway with lots of winter activ. The outdoor pool, tubs and sauna were incredible and we enjoyed hiking the area and skating on the outdoor pond. All the fear is there for rent if you don’t have the equipment for the activities

Poor service at reception. No help or accommodation for early checkin although room was ready. Really short nordic skiing and fatike trails. Noisy dogs in adjacent room late at night and early morning.

Love the resort. It’s a beautiful cozy auberge. The staff is great and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The view on the lake is amazing. The only negative thing to say is the restaurant. We tried it on our first night (despite reading negative reviews), the ambiance is 10 on 10. The wait staff was excellent. But the food was just ok and quite overpriced. We went back for breakfast buffet and everything we selected was luke warm if not cold. Second night we opted to eat at the Bistro, and that was very good. So great place to stay, will be returning, but they definitely need to improve the restaurant.

Very nice beach and surroundings. Comfortable bed. Music outside until midnight and noise in hallway early in morning. Did not sleep much Dinner at le cerf rouge was disappointing but the brunch was great.

Wonderful location. Beautiful lake and surroundings. Charming log property. Perfect for stay with children.

Dinner buffet was really disappointing , the food was not what we would expect from this type of hotel. We should have eaten at the Bistro. Breakfast buffet was really good however.

The lake is outstanding although very shallow. This is a bonus for those with young children. Although the rooms are ordinary the structure of the lodge is based on the log cabin aesthetic and is impressive. all in all a lovely setting

Nice location, nice sand beach. The room are ok, but old bathroom. Need renovation. Need to reserve for the restaurant.

Outdoor Sauna wasn't working, outdoor pool was too cold locker rooms are showing their age burned my rear side in the indoor sauna as the slats of the benches were fixed with screws sticking out - not a good idea at 92 degrees C Bistro doesn't serve food after 4pm thus one is forced to pay CAD 50 or more and eat in the dining room - doesn't make sense if you just want an onion soup. room was spacious and seemed newly renovated - very nicely designed. The beds were ultra comfortable and so were the down duvet and pillows.

Positive: Nice spot on a large lake, nice people, excellent food. Negative: Noisy at night, deficient wall insulation, parties, could not sleep well for 2/2 nights
