The cleaning staff are not good.

pretty dingy in need of major reno, there were at least 3 fights with major profanity that went on all through the night, so very noisy and hard to sleep, on the plus side there is a great independent restaurant on the third floor called Wing Freak, don’t let the name put you off, it is very good

Old hotel for sure in need of some repairs and updates. Good location to downtown, however being downtown comes with homelessness issues. Seems the hotel doesn’t have enough parking on site and 0 zero amenities. Attached restaurant was good but no discount for hotel guest or breakfast/coffee included. Highly recommend coming to Yellowknife to experience the true Northern lifestyle.

The only thing that was clean was the bed, dog hair everywhere, dirty toilet, dirty shower, peeling paint, broken fixtures, This place is a mess. Go to the chateau nova or explorer instead.

Parking terrible, on going construction

Due to road work, looks like city water main had to stop and think on getting parked. Once there was able to walk down town and old town areas

very central location for all activities. great safe parking.

The property is old but well looked after the inside is extremely clean and looked after world stay again and recommend it to any one wanted a great place to stay and a good price

The front desk Supervisor named Fatima was really friendly and helpful, especially when my daughter is having problems connecting to the Wifi. She gave us extra access 😊

Room was well equiped with a kitchenette. Gym was good. Restaurant was good. Great value compared to other hotels I looked at in Yellowknife.

Enjoyed our stay . Fatima was very helpful and knowledgeable as always. If you need help, she is the person to talk to.

We particularly enjoyed the restaurant Wing Freak for breakfast each day- good menu, great service.

The staff were amazing! I got injured a couple days into my stay (not on hotel property) and could no longer use the stairs or move around easily in my original room. The staff moved me to an accessible room in the building with the elevator right away and every time, I went past the front desk, they would ask how I am doing and if I needed anything :) The hotel shuttle was very helpful and it was great to have an on-site restaurant. Thank you so much for everything!!
