The Motel 6 is ideal for a budget traveler like myself. It offers good-sized rooms with large bathrooms and ample storage space. The Wi-Fi was reliable and very solid. The staff were great! The location is in the east end of Peterborough but is on the main drag, Lansdowne Street. Hang a left out of the parking lot and within five minutes you have a choice of two shopping malls, every type of food you crave and easy access to Ottawa or Toronto. I was in town to play golf so I didn't venture downtown. In summary, Motel 6 offers affordable, clean rooms in a great location with great staff. It is now my go-to should I return in the future. The hotel was reasonably priced. The room was clean with the necessary supplies. Any minor problems we had were quickly addressed by the desk staff. Location within walking distance of 2 bars which we tried & a steak house we did not was super. Tim Horton's is also within walking distance. Good value for money.

Room 121. Toilet wouldn't flush, light was out, bar fridge wasn't cold enough. There was nothing extra in this room. No drawers, no coffee maker, and the floor had stray hairs everywhere. The room was small, the bed was comfy, but otherwise very clean and fresh.

No coffee makers , very thin walls, clean. Room has what is needed.

This is a basic motel. Very clean but dated. Staff were excellent and worked hard to take care of us.

Had a fridge, no microwave. Room was clean but definitely due for a refresh. A/C was great. No breakfast service but coffee pod machine.

An okay motel. No amenities offered. Would have been very handy if they had a suggested list of local restaurants etc but nothing offered. Room needed refreshing eg paint. Very poor mattress.

I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and quiet. Quiet until the fourth day when a woman with a dog occupied the room beside me. She left the dog in the room for three hours and it barked non-stop. So, be prepared to hear your neighbor if you are unfortunate enough to have one who is inconsiderate. Otherwise, for the price, this hotel is worth the stay. There's several places to eat within a two to five minute walk.

Was only there for approx 7 hours, but I was able to check in late without a problem, and without calling ahead. Room was fine, didn't take advantage of anything else, just sleeping and leaving early on the way to somewhere else.

Sheets were stained and ripped. Garbage was all over the parking lot. Including a zip locked bag of raw meat near the front door. Room was surprisingly clean considering how old and run down the room was. Ripped curtain, dirty walls, chipped furniture. Very very disappointed as we Have stayed here before and it was good for the money. I give it at two out of ten.

Person I was with got bit by a tick in the room. Front Desk person did not seem to care. Also, sign identifying building is on the side. Drove right passed and only saw sign after turning around.
