Upon initially arriving and getting to our room, we were immediately frustrated to find that there was only one bed to share between three people. It wasn’t even a proper double bed — it was two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable for the booking. Later, we went to get a drink using some spare change we had, only to be told that the hotel is card-only throughout, including the bar. We were unable to use our cash despite it being legal tender, which was not made clear beforehand. The hotel was also extremely loud throughout the night. Noise from neighbouring rooms, both above and next to us, resulted in a very poor night’s sleep. I raised this with the manager, Sebastian, who was not particularly willing to offer any assistance or solution. The following morning, breakfast was another disappointment. Luke, the restaurant manager, did try his best, but the overall service was very poor. There was no hot food available, and many guests were complaining. Everyone was simply told that “the chef was trying his best”, which didn’t help the situation. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations due to poor room setup, noise issues, lack of flexibility, and disappointing service. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again nor recommend it to others.

Nice welcome at reception. Clean warm room. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good although a few items weren’t available as we went down to breakfast at 0950 on Sunday morning.

Clean room

We stayed with our grown up children for a night to catch up and relax together. The hotel is lovely and spacious and even though they had a Christmas party going on we didn't feel that we had been pushed out. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was good. There was a minor hiccup with the order but resolved with no fuss.We used the spa facilities which were all clean and working. We had to wait to use the sauna steam and jacuzzi, it was quite busy and there was no restriction on the amount time you can spend in each so some stayed in the sauna for quite a while meaning many were waiting to use it. We still enjoyed our time there nevertheless.

I always say that when I am going for a short visit to meet family & friends over Christmas, I only need a hotel to provide me with a nice clean, comfortable room, a good sleep, a hot shower & a good breakfast to set me up for the day. Eastwood Hall provided all of these in abundance! Everything from parking up to finding reception, signing in and getting about was spot on. The staff were all friendly, helpful and polite & what else can I say! It went beyond what I expect for my stay so thankyou Eastwood Hall 🙏 Definitely worth the 4⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean room. Fresh breakfast. Beautiful staff service. Down side was No lift to upstairs rooms. The ONLY one in the building was broken and barrickaded.Very long walks to bedrooms.

An excellent well equiped comfortable room. But would have liked more than 5 coat hangers in the wardrobe for our clothes. Informed reception when checking out and they said theyd ask housekeeping to correct

Amazing value for money nice pool and restaurant good staff - we paid 122 pounds per night for two with breakfast included and use of facilities- will definitely look to use again

We had a wonderful stay (2 adults and 2 children under 5) the hotel is really clean with great facilities. The food was lovely and staff very helpful and friendly! We couldn’t fault it!

Very dated

Food service was shocking, took 50 minutes to produce a burger and chips, when it arrived it was missing 2 ingredients. The burger then went back to the kitchen and returned to me 5 minutes later and cold…. Fortunately there is a M&S with a food hall a short drive away where I was able to find something to eat.

Staff were very helpful and the bed was comfortable. There was EV charging on site which wasn't too expensive.
