Very nice place, cute, great location, wonderful breakfast, balcony, nice staff, everything you need. Would definitely stay again

A quiet location but so close to the ByWard Market & 20 minutes walk to Parliament Hill. Fridge, microwave, kitchenette, big TV & air con meant nothing was lacking. A good breakfast was included. We would stay there again.

would prefer a fresh food and not fake eggs… and all the plastic and disposable salts, peppers, creamers, etc. not environmentalThe soy milk was very sour tasting - not very good. But everything else was nice.

Delightful boutique hotel with very generous balconies on the edge of the fantastic byward market area and walkable to the parliament building etc Great welcome very good breakfast option on a self serve basis Room was a good size with a small Kitchenette with small table and dining chairs small fridge freezer and microwave and coffee maker as well as iron and ironing board Comfortable bed and easy to get over to and from train station Definitely lived up to and exceeded expectations as we had hoped

Run down older building. Located in a dirty, scary, low income area.

Location was great being only a short walk to the Byward Market. Room was spotlessly clean and a nice size. Breakfast selection was also very good. Would definitely recommend.

Everything you need for a great stay.

I was really pleased with my stay at The Byward Blue. It was near to everything I needed, very central generally, clean, modern bathroom and kitchenette, had a lovely outdoor setting at back, and the balcony was great on warm days. Additionally, it had a great breakfast included, where they didn’t mind at all if you took a few things up to your room. I had one small problem with my balcony door not closing well, and they took care of that right away. Very responsiveness all round. I’ll definitely be going back and will be sure to recommend to friends. Thx for your hospitality.

Byward is a charming well-located motel. Staff were friendly and helpfull. There are two outstanding problems for us. 1. the air conditioner faces directly at the beds, and we had a headache in the morning with cold air blowing directly at our heads, and it was too hot to turn it off or raise the temperature. 2. the bathroom fan was so very loud These two problems aside, we had a pretty good stay at the hotel..

The rooms were clean and bright and the staff very helpful and friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our little patio which was beautifully landscaped. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied and tasty. We enjoyed our stay and were impressed they could accommodate us for an extra day at short notice. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends.

Excellent area , easy access to Downtown . Thursday night was stupid loud with loud and noise patrons until 230 am. If that’s a regular thing on weekends . I’d avoid it if u like it quiet. Otherwise I would return

A small boutique style hotel in the centre of downtown Ottawa. Close to all attractions. Well maintained in the modern European decor. Full breakfast included.

clean room. staff were good. Breakfast was very good. we booked the two bedroom room- it was not set up very well- the kitchen area (fridge, coffee maker ) was in the second bedroom. so the four of us did not have access to it. the slider lock to the bathroom was tricky. we enjoyed the patio

It is very convenient to everything. the breakfast was very good. Staff were nice. the only thing that confused us - we booked the two bedroom room and thought the kitchen area would be more accessible for the four of us. the kitchen area was in fact at the back and in the bedroom making it really on accessible for the two who chose the back bedroom. Taking this into consideration, the room was a weirdly set up. we did however enjoy sitting on the patio.

Great little spot. Clean. Good breakfast. Staff was lovely. Parking was safe (but tight for a SUV). Would visit again.
