Nice hotel.Well positioned for old town. Food was above average, but the evening meal was just a variation on lunch, could be better. Check in was ok, check out just took too long. As check out is noon and a mix of people are checking in and out at this time makes sense to me to have more than one person in reception at this time but this didn’t happen. 7 or 8 people waiting for one receptionist (who wasn’t in a rush ) is not great. Some of these people needlessly waiting as WiFi not working for them. I had the same issue earlier in holiday. Reason is that they input your email address in to their system. If this doesn’t match your email address then it won’t work. Simple fix for this would be for receptionist to check your email when you check in. So apart from these niggles, nice hotel, nice location, good WiFi ( when it works). I wouldn’t bring my wife here though as she is coeliac and none of the food is allergy labelled which is a simple thing the hotel could also improve on.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff are excellent and the hotel was clean. we only stayed bed and breakfast, and the food was very good. Our only gripe was that when having a beer around the pool, it was served in a paper cup. It would be much better served in one of the reusable plastic cups.

The hotel was excellent very clean and very comfortable beds also very quiet. As it was March we did not use the pool also we didn't avail ourselves of the bar but it appeared very nice people were enjoying it. Only one slight complaint regarding some staff members not very amenable. Would definitely return.

The hotel is very basic and extremely dated. The decor (first floor) is terrible, carpet bare in places, bed linen old and threadbare. Bed extremely uncomfortable. I had to return to reception on multiple occasions as the key card failed to work. Woken on both mornings by cleaning staff hitting door with vacuum before 9am. Special mention to an extremely rude member of staff, Jose, who was working the evening shift. Needless to say I’ll never be back. So much better available for less money

A solid choice, handy for everything and nice an peaceful as not right beside the madness, would definitely stay again

Great hotel. Lovely pool. Food really good. The fried eggs were the best hotel eggs I've had. Bar in the evening is good. Claudia is so friendly and bubbly and always smiling which was great as I was solo. Rooms good and modern. Cleaning was very good.

Just back from a one night stay at the Royal to celebrate my partner's birthday.... From the moment we arrived we felt at home... Reception member was lovely.... The bar staff excellent (especially Alfonzo)... Hotel immaculate and breakfast stunning... Cannot fault this hotel.

Great stay t the RH Royal - we stay here many times each year and feel the hotel offers everything we need in a hotel.

Excellent service - they let us check-in very early in the morning, provided an extra blanket as requested, the buffet service was very good! Close to the beach and right in downtown, close to the Beniconnect bus stop as well. We will definitely return!

The hotel offers excellent location from which to visit all parts of Benidorm. Located just 5 min walk away from the old town and 5 min walk away from the beach front activities it is very central. Hundreds of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel had breakfast included on my deal which had everything you could wish for. I opted for dinner some nights for only Euro 15 and I was very impressed by the standard of menu and options available from the wide buffet choice. Smart and clean this hotel offers a great location. I hired a car from Alicante airport so the fact that this hotel had its own underground car park (14 euro per day) was excellent. This hotel is part of the HR group and you can also use all facilities of the hotel across the road too as it is part of that same group.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, and they have fun entertainment around the pool area in the evenings. The room was fine, but dated. It took a long time to catch an elevator at busy times. The breakfast was nice with a large selection. It’s located close to the beach and old town. The majority of the guests are retirement age.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel which was very clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definately return and would advise anyone thinking about booking to stay here, do not hesitate book it up !
