Great place to stay in Chester

We stayed here for 1 night and it was our first stay in Chester as part of a large group. We received a lovely welcome upon check in and the staff were lovely and attentive and super friendly. The hotel was really clean and maintained to a high standard. The rooms were a good size and nice and modern. If and when we come back, we will definitely be booking here again.

Really central location for visiting and exploring Chester. Nice rooms, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Music does go on till 11 at weekends but it’s turned down around 10

Here’s a polished review you could post: My partner and I recently stayed at Oddfellows Chester when attending Chester Races, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. They went above and beyond by allowing us to access our room earlier than expected, which made a huge difference to our day and gave us plenty of time to get ready for the races without feeling rushed. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely focused on making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself was lovely, but it was the outstanding service that made our visit memorable. We would highly recommend Oddfellows Chester and will definitely stay again when we’re next visiting Chester.

The hotel was clean and in good shape. The room was perfect apart from the toilet being behind the shower cubicle but that was my fault for booking this room style. It felt quite exposed even with the glass door shut. Great stay and in ideal location.

GREAT STAY AS ALWAYS

Our room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The Hotel was interesting, quirky and "different " from the norm. There were different areas to enjoy both in and outside. The decor was amazing. The restaurant was accessible and again quirky in design. The food was delicious 😋. All Staff were friendly and helpful.

Duplex was a lovely modern accommodation. We had an amazing stay.

The room was spacious, large beds, ensuites and a lovely big living space. The lighting was a bit dim, more lamps would be good. Small things didnt work well, ie, no bedside lights, front door wouldnt lock (except for the yale), a bulb was out, we scouldnt get the phone to reception to work and wifi didnt work either. Some of the blinds need fixing too. However, lovely linen, comfy beds, great location and quiet.

Air conditioning was great. Located perfect for shops restaurants and close to river for nice walks.

Glad we chose this place. Lovely room and in a good location. More interesting than many hotels. Over a noisy bar, so not the best choice if you want an early night at the weekend, but otherwise highly recommend.

Great location and proximity to shopping, eating and drinking. Great team in reception and the bar area, nothing was too much trouble for anyone, big smiles and laughs from everyone. Really unique quirky room that was comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We’ll definitely be back.

Great central location and clean room, local shop less than 2 minute walk.

Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again.
