Very comfortable bed, spacious clean room, quiet, very good breakfast, nice friendly couple, plenty of parking, nice location with a good pub 10 mins walk away. Good price for accommodation and value for money. Will stay again.

Excellent in all aspects

We received a warm welcome and the owners were friendly and polite. The abbey was easy to locate and our room was comfortable and a good size. The breakfast is excellent and you can walk to a nearby pub for dinner. Pleased to see parking was provided as well. From here we explored the jail, Fowey, Charlestown and everything in between so it’s a central location. I would recommend the abbey for a nice place to stay if you want to see the surrounding areas.

Upon arrival the inside looked a little tired however the rooms were very big with privatre facilities and super king size bed. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful, Jenny is a wonderful host and nothing is a trouble.

Great place for a stop over

Lovely hotel just off the Saints Way and they are really welcoming to walkers. Excellent breakfast, best eggs we had on the trip. Just a few minutes walk from a pub and chippy for an evening meal, these are on the Saints Way so you can eat before checking in and save yourself the extra steps. The building is old and historically interesting. The gardens are lovely to enjoy your coffee in

A very pleasant stay at an unusual hotel in a building dating back to the middle ages. Definitely will go back again. Super nice staff, breakfast is excellent!

Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok. A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners.

Room spacious and clean. Staff all brilliant and very attentive. Lovely fresh breakfast - scrambled egg and smoked salmon was superb. Lots of off road parking.

An interesting quirky hotel. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. A nice place for a weekend break.

A lovely old property , steeped in history. Very unique! Wonderful friendly welcome , made to feel very special On arrival. Breakfast was lovely . Very easy parking . The bed was super comfy ! Highly recommended.

Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. Historic old Benedictine abbey modernized. Lanivet Inn walkable and recommend it for dinner. Would stay at Abbey again if visiting Cornwall.

The whole experience was very good: the welcoming and warmth of Jenny the host, the setting and interesting property, the room and comfortable large bed, excellent breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate returning.
