Friendly helpful staff, and Dinner at the Hotel was good too.

Helpful and professional staff but relaxed atmosphere. Clean and comfortable room. No complaints at all (only thing preventing 5 stars was that I felt the black pudding in the Full English was a little bit dry, as if it had been under a heat lamp a little too long! This was, literally, the biggest negative.)

Did an overnight stay as a couple on the way back down to Nottinghamshire from Scotland. Wd could not fault the room and the service for the price and the restuarant wad great value wigh good quality too. Breakfast was all you could hope for: we will definitely use again when we ard in the area.

We were a couple, staying over for 1 night after a day at Hexham races. The check in was great, very easy and straight forward. We were shown to our room by the lady owner (sorry I can't remember your name) who was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, with an area to sit, a huge bed and a big en-suite. We had lunch in the bar downstairs which was a toastie and chunky chips for £8.95, excellent value. The breakfast was good the next day, a cooked breakfast to order and cereal, fruit, muffins etc on the buffet table. Would certainly stay again next time we are in Hexham.

Lovely accommodation. Very clean and elegant. In the centre of Hexham . Breakfast wonderful. Well run.

Great stay as usual

Small but comfortable room. No onsite parking or designated unloading area. Parking was in a public lot aren’t minute walk from the hotel. Took the bloom off an otherwise nice stay.

Great stay, staff were all lovely and accommodating to our family. The room was very comfortable and nice size. It was very clean with great facilities. Breakfast was tasty with quick service and great quality. Parking was very easy around 100m walk away was a very large free public car park, and we found it very easy to stop outside the hotel to unload and load the car when needed.

Great food, excellent staff. Fiona is an awesome manager. Nice big room, very accommodating - they made me a terrific bag lunch for my walk on Hadrian's Wall. I would recommend them very highly.

Great location staff really helpful

Location was ideal for my needs. Parking is not straightforward. Staff are superb, many thanks to Fiona for her friendly welcome. Bed not the most comfortable and it does get noisy quite early, so if you are not looking to get up early … use the ear plugs provided.

Wonderful service, food great and reasonably priced

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely and totally helpful. The menu was varied and suited us well. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was situated well so we could walk down and see the Christmas lights. All in all a perfect stay. Thankyou all.

Lovely pub/hotel, great friendly staff, very nice rooms.

This is a privately owned hotel that has all the qualities of a major 5 star chain, it is spotless, the attention to detail in everything is incredible, it’s a warmly welcome from everyone and the amount of customers it gets shows, there are no signs of cheap bedroom furniture bought from cheap shops, everything is matching and feels like quality. Well done to all of you and keep going onwards and upwards.
