Bruce is an outstanding property manager — attentive, professional, and genuinely excellent with both guests and staff. He runs the entire place seamlessly, and it really shows in the overall experience. The villa itself was extremely well-kept, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, and the view from the villa was absolutely amazing. Thanks to Bruce’s management, the stay was smooth, relaxing, and very well organized. I would not hesitate to recommend the property and would happily return.

Expedia should consider removing Kanda Koh Samui from its roster. We prepared a 12/31/25 stay here. Upon arrival we learned quickly that the property has been neglected. Trash piled up near entrance, staffer told us that the pool was being filled in our villa before we could see it. That was a lie. Pool was not filled for our villa. In fact, once we checked in we found the pool with about four inches of water, a leaking toilet, a leak around a sink while the same sink did not drain. Two AC units not working well and no light in a shower. Bad all around. We requested a refund through Expedia and shared some photos of the condition of the property. If it hadn’t been for Expedias responsiveness and some quick foot work on my part we would have spent our New Year’s Eve in this place. I expressed to the lead staffer, Bruce, and Expedia that the false advertising done by Kanda should cease before someone takes legal action-if it hasn’t begun already. I recommend that you steer way clear of this place.

False advertisement definitely was not a 5 star resort The room was in bad condition. Room condition were not as advertised on website photos and were not clean. Restaurant bar menu items not available Most foods appeared to have been preordered by external Grab delivery companies. Construction workers working during peak season Dec 22 Rubbish piles overflowing from side section of the bin section Will not recommend to anyone.

Hotel manager and concierge were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. Had a little trouble with the air conditioning, but dealt with quickly and efficiently. Complex and the units are ideal, although in the process of being modernised as some areas looking a little tired in places. Nice and each to get cabs to anywhere on the island.

First-timer and satisfied. This place was just what I was looking for. Friendly staff, quiet, and spacious.

The property is tired but comfortable. It is not suited to small children as there are a few hazards that need attention.

Subject: Feedback Regarding Our Stay Dear Bruce, We appreciate the effort you’ve put into making your property available for guests, and we must say the views are absolutely stunning. Additionally, your warm welcome and thoughtful communication were much appreciated. However, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we feel it’s important to share our experience with you. Here’s a list of concerns we encountered during our stay:     1.    Construction noise: There was construction happening the entire time we stayed here, with workers on the roof and the constant noise of saws and other tools. This made it very difficult to relax by the pool.     2.    Hot water: There is barely any hot water.     3.    Bathtub and sink issues: The bathtub cannot hold water because the stopper doesn’t work. Additionally, one of the faucets in the master bathroom is so loose that it wobbles significantly.     4.    Lighting: The hallway light and the pool light are not functioning.     5.    Television: None of the televisions had service during our stay. Someone came out to try to fix it but said it couldn’t be resolved and that you would need to contact the provider. This explanation didn’t make much sense, and the issue remained unresolved.     6.    Internet: The internet connection was so poor that we couldn’t use it at all during our stay.     7.    Bed comfort: The bed is extremely hard, causing back pain. We requested an extra cushion or topper to make it more comfortable.

Great stay with a pool in a private and serene villa setting. The staff were super helpful and the GM Bruce really looked after us. Thank you

A nice spot on a beautiful island. Large private villa complex, although beware the 3 bedrooms were all in separate buildings so not great if you have small children. Staff very accommodating. Lovely to have our own private pool.

Unaware of hotel upgrade in process. I have stayed here many times in the past pre covid. Hotel under new management & building works. Hotel is tired and in need of major refurbishment or price reduction. Breakfast very basic & new staff not trained properly of what to do. Samui suffered greatly during covid and is slowly getting back on its feet.

The first villa was not so good, but once we spoke the property manager, they provided us with a wonderful villa which we appreciated it a lot

The private pool with every villa is fabulous. Extensive renovations are upcoming that will add to the great “bones” that exist. Very nice people GM goes out of his way as does staff.

Clean but over rated, breakfast very poor and no service and activities, i see more resorts better than and the same prices.

This place is a dream! The people were so kind and so very helpful. Our villa was amazing and very clean. We loved the location, it was quiet but not far from the bustle of the island.

What an amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They helped us book a tour, arrange a ride to the airport etc. They went above and beyond service expectations! They even delivered us a surprise cake for my husband’s birthday! The Villa was beautiful, clean, the views breathtaking. Having our own private pool was fabulous. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast and we also ate there for dinner one evening and the food was delicious. I highly highly recommended.

Loved the resort, very nice and private. Just a bit far from major attractions.

We will come back for sure, all villas have private infinity pool and we were in first line with direct access to the beach. Service is wonderful, always available by WhatsApp and very customer oriented. Special mention to Ms. Pornthip, the best manager!
