Nice room at a fair price. Some noise from the restaurant located above us late at night and early in the morning. Had dinner in the restaurant and food was good but service a bit confused with starters and amuse bouche arriving at the same time. Drinks at the bar before dinner were well served. Thanks everyone!

Well located hotel, short walk from Harrogate station, close to the central shopping area - across from the park.

Excellent stay. Fabulous location, friendly & efficient staff. Easy car parking and a lovely evening meal. All round the hotel was really enjoyable.

Gorgeous hotel. Welcoming reception staff and service. Room was great and spacious. Only thing was there was only coffee pods provided in the room, no milk, sugar etc.

Staff were excellent from booking in to leaving. Rooms very clean & comfortable. Easy access to bars, restaurants & shopping. Parking on site. We will be back again!

My room was excellent, clean, and with a roomy bathroom. The front desk was open 24/7 whenever I had a question or need. The location to the town center was awesome. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.

The second time of staying at this hotel. We really like it here but this time the room was on the ground floor (We were offered a choice of this or an ‘attic’ room on arrival) but had already unpacked in the ground floor one before we realised that there was no ventilation in the bedroom. None of the windows opened (for safety) but there was no other way to get air into the room (no air conditioning for example). This really bothered me through the night as the room felt hot and airless. Might not bother anyone else but would advise you to check if you suffer similarly. On reflection we should have repacked and asked for the other room but I thought I could manage. Did advise reception when we left but not sure what they can do about it. Would stay there again but would make sure to be on another floor.

Enjoyed a deluxe room with roll top bath and walk in shower. Whole experience led to hotel being chosen as wedding reception venue!

A great hotel, very nice cocktails, great breakfast and lovely bath.

Very disappointed. Arrived early, asked for a room to change for a wedding ... As our room wants ready .. offered a toilet !!! After some conversation, magically a room was made available. Gentleman on reception in the morning rude and ignorant. Young lady very helpful. Returned post wedding to suite on the top floor, disappointed at the lack of maintenance on the room, toilet floor coming apart with water damage, marks on the walls above the bed. Overall very disappointed for Hotel du Vin, for the price not worth it.

Excellent service, excellent room and excellent breakfast

An enjoyable couple of nights at the HdV in Harrogate - we have stayed in the hotel several times before and have always enjoyed it - we were able to use the bar area on a couple of occasions, for a night cap and to do some work in the soft seating area - the room was large and the bed very comfortable

when a diner advises the waiting staff they ordered a dish as a main course I would expect the dish to be removed and changed not just a main course plate brought to the guest at an adjoining table.

In one word excellent from arrival to going home quality bedding staff especially Rebecca and all on reception brilliant, afternoon tea yummy, so was evening meal and breakfast.

First stay at HdV in a few years. Excellent all round.

Hotel perfectly located. I know that Hotel Du Vin have started on a program of refreshments throughout their portfolio so basing this on how the hotel currently is. Room had a smell of sweat, felt like it needed a good airing. Attention to detail on the cleaning was not very good at all, found a toenail in the bath, general grime and dust. Bed was atrocious. How that mattress is still on the bed is beyond me. Two large dips meant it was impossible to get comfortable, had me up several times in the night. Awful, one of the worst. Junior suite located above bar area so music was clearly audible in the room. In general the hotel and decor are tired and are in urgent need of a refresh! But the bed was inexcusable. Breakfast was lovely.

This is a lovely hotel in a good position. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was nice except that no-one had thought to put on the heating and it was January. The room was cold and only warmed up by next morning. There was only a light duvet and no extra blanket in the wardrobe so I needed to put a dressing gown on the bed, which was far too heavy and we didn't sleep well. Also I had submitted a request for a breakfast which excluded cow's milk for my husband. The waitress was offhand about this and could only supply a milk substitute, not yogurt or cheese. The Hotel du Vin at St Andrews had previously managed better than this so we were disappointed.

Absolutely love this hotel. Fantastic staff and rooms. Would highly recommend
