A high standard of standardness. The rooms are modest, but everything was in perfect condition. The meals range from okay to supetb, fepending on wwhat you coose. Staff are excellent.

Everything about the hotel was very good, with one exception. There is no ramp facilities for even the slightly disabled to get from drop off to reception. Can be difficult with large cases.

Lovely, friendly staff mostly, clean spaces. Note that’s it’s not actually “all inclusive” as there are certain basic drinks that they require you to pay for, eg a mojito or a red bull, which I found pretty strange. It’s actually a “mostly inclusive” but the service was good and the food was okay. Had many issues with the plug sockets in the room too, my phone wouldn’t charge besides the charger working elsewhere. Never an offer to move rooms or try to find a permanent solution so it became a bit frustrating throughout. I guess they did their best but it’s not somewhere I would stay again.

Convenient to all amenities such as the Yumbo centre, the beach and the Dunes. Quiet hotel and friendly staff.

Literally across the street from Yumbo shopping center. Property in excellent condition. Not cheap, but in a great location and in great condition.

The property was great, very clean and comfortable. Close to many outlets and easy to get a taxi from. Staff were really good. Drinks were very cheap. Really good deal for hotel.

Was in awful room but couldn't move on arrival or next day I was only offer a room swap once I had unpacked and would need to repack and wait for the room to be cleaned Rea

Another fantastic stay at Neptuno. It’s my hotel of choice when staying at Playa. The pool area is fantastic with a bar, sauna and steam room. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I always was greeted with a smile, the food is delicious. I like the grill and the grill by the pool in the bar area. The room has all the facilities you will need. My only concerns were the water in the pool being murky and people dragging a chair across the floor at all times in the room above me. Other than that I had a lovely time and will be coming back. The hotel also backs onto the Yumbo.

I am a regular visitor to Gran Canaria but this was my first stay at the Neptuno. Although I knew it had a good reputation I was a bit wary about potential noise from the neighbouring Yumbo Centre. It turned out to be a non-issue. I had a lovely stay. The room was simple but comfortable and very clean, the public areas are attractive and the facilities good, including a gym and wellness area. Staying on a half board basis I found the selection at dinner pretty good, augmented by the nightly selections fresh from the grill. The staff were utterly delightful. I will happily stay there again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

The breakfast lacked vegan items. The rooms were tired. The self check in did not work. The staff were kind and professional. The coffee was good and the soundproofing from the Yumbo was excellent.

Although service was excellent and we had read the hotel had recently been refurbished, it did still appear dated in areas. We do think the 4* rating is pushing it.

They had a lot of small nice touches, free sangria at the poolside midday, dry rack pullet cords on the balcony for drying your towels and bathies, excellent value for money for anything that wasn't included in all inclusive/half board deal, would definitely come back here for long weekend again. Staff were also really friendly and provided good service.

The hotel is dated, needs revamping. Room was ok, west side room overlooking a garden. Shower terrible, no control of temperature, freezing cold to dangerously hot within a heartbeat. Shower hose split, front door lock failed, pool area small, entertainment poor. The hotel is right behind a huge tourist centre called Yumbo, shops, restaurants and bars, which was nice, some great food here. The beach area is about 15 to 20 minutes away. I would not consider staying here again.

All the staff throughout the stay were excellent and very friendly Enjoyed it immensely

Staff and food were brilliant. Area around the pool is limited but we always found sunbeds.
