Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend staying

From the staff at the front desk to the gorgeous, unforgettable view, this hotel is a hidden gem! When you come to Todi, you expect history and age, and the hotel gives you both of those things. We had a private balcony that was exquisite and staff went out of their way to cater to us. We would definitely stay again.

Picturesque location in beautiful Italian village.

The staff were professional and friendly. The room itself was fine, but the air conditioning conked out in the middle of the night (and it was a hot, humid night). This made the stay less comfortable than it should have been.

We stayed in a lovely suite with a terrace that was very pleasant in the afternoon. The people at the desk are friendly and helpful. We were sorry to leave them. My only small complaint is a problem we find in many hotels--the absence of an unoccupied electrical outlet by the bed--hardly the end of the world.

What a wonderful hotel this was. The room with outdoor space, the service and location were the absolute best. It was the perfect first hotel to go to during Covid as safety measures were taken seriously.

Problems with parking outside - very limited. Had to park very far away from hotel. Internet did not work. Restaurant due to Covid only served cold plates. Service otherwise was good.

Hotel Fonte Cesia is a wonderful hotel right in the heart of beautiful Todi. The location is perfect to explore the city. We had a nice room with a great private terrace looking out over the Umbrian countryside. The staff is very friendly and helpful! There is parking for the hotel for an additional charge that is short walk and a bit of a climb up stairs but convenient. The room was comfortable and spacious although the bathroom was a bit small and outdated. We purchased breakfast for a small additional fee and although not fancy, it was adequate for the price. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a very basic double room with a shower that didn’t work too well- wouldn’t get more than warm and the shower head setting was faulty too. That said my friend had a more classic Italian room with a big mahogany bed and a beautiful lookout into the square out front so maybe we just drew the short straw. The hotel was lovely with a great outdoor area and friendly staff. Todi itself is a gorgeous town with a very authentic feel.

This was my third time staying st the Fonte Cesia and my only complaint is the unreliable wifi. A minor complaint is the lack of space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Hotel is centrally located in perfect Umbrian town of Todi. Our room was spacious & very well appointed. All staff (desk, bar, housekeeping) were superb--very helpful parking car, reserving dinners, etc. We would stay here again in an instant.

I traveled from Boston via Rome to Todi, Umbria where the Fonte Cesia is located. This hotel is very special, right on the small square, steps to the larger central square. Todi, which is considered a city, resembles more of a lovely village, winding streets, houses with balconies filled with vibrant flowers, excellent restaurants and charming shops. I was attending a wedding in MonteCastello, very nearby to Todi. I highly recommend visits to both locations, while staying at Fonte Cesia.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Fonte Cesia at the end of a week long stay in Todi. Previously we had been staying in a B & B but they were booked out for the final night of our holiday so we stayed here for that evening. We had a junior suite which I found very spacious with a large terrace. I found the room very clean and comfortable though a little dated...this did sort of give it a certain amount of charm though. One issue we had was we could not find any English language channels on the television and we rang reception regarding this. They assured us there was one but couldn't give us a channel number to access it but did offer to send someone up to find it for us which we declined. Maybe each room should have the info in it to access these channels. Also I found the breakfast very limited. No toast and no hot food. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

Room was in need of an upgrade, but what a view. Can't say enough about how the staff worked to be helpful. Breakfast was very weak with no hot offerings; basically a 'Continental' breakfast.
