Hotel Garance is great if you are just looking for a no frills hotel. The room had been somewhat recently renovated/updated. There are no extra amenities such as soap in bathroom or complementary water in room. The room was looked clean however when hotel staff would come in and complete their routine cleaning throughout the stay they left behind an unpleasant smell which seemed to be a dirty vacuum smell. Overall, the hotel is a good value and provides a comfortable place to land after long days exploring Paris.

Este hotel está en mantenimiento, no entiendo como fue posible que me brinden algo así. La habitación daba la impresión de sucia, oscura, lúgubre, en fin, llegué y encontré una toalla usada y un pomo con líquido de limpieza en el piso. Muy desagradable la estancia allí, por eso no estuve la segunda noche. Nada recomendable este lugar. Por favor antes de comercializar algo así actualicense de las condiciones reales.

really HOT, no AC

The staff were friendly but the hotel is old, dirty, under construction which made it dusty and noisy. The outside was dirty as well, not welcoming in any sense.

Staff was very friendly. The light breakfast was free because of reservations which was convenient. We did find the air conditioning wouldn’t work most of the time so it did get a little hot.

Did not match the service and welcome of other 2 star hotels

Definitely clean. Rather basic, but that comes with a good rate. The rooms are not big, but this time my room was significantly smaller than previous trips.

Metro line 7 is a couple minutes away. Buses close too. Plenty of nearby food options. Staff was great, above average space in the room and beds were comfortable.

The hotel was located a little bit far away from things that I wanted to see, however, the room was comfortable. I was on the fourth floor and the elevator was broken so it was a lot of steps up to the fourth floor. My room was nice and the staff were extremely nice The only thing that I could say about the room was that the wallpaper was peeling off at one area, and the shower appeared to have a bit of mold in it. The television and Internet was not up to par. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely nice.

First off, the hotel is on a noisy main street, the hotel itself is very small & basic. Cleaning is very surface, there're mold lines all around the bathroom ceiling and floor, most towels have stains on them, there's no shampoo or tissues. It's very disappointing for the amount they charge which was 30% more than a 4star hotel in the 9th arrondissement just a week prior.

There was mold everywhere. In the bedroom (behind the floor to ceiling curtains), in the bathroom & also there were ants (we were told by the hotel staff that was normal in Spring).

Matress was concave and slopping, so I asked for it to be changed. It was, the second was a little better, but both well past it, and affected my sleep. This echoed a sense of under investment in the place. Lots of small things slightly broken or needing attention. The location was good

Very comfortable and really great staff! The room was quite large as well with comfortable beds.

The perfect environment for food, shopping and entertainment. The staff was awesome and greets you with nice smiles and friendly attitudes. Housekeeping was great too. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to be in a hip mellow pace to adventure out.

Nice hotel.

Our stay of 8 nights was excellent. The concierge was very helpful with directions and of recommendations for activities Breakfast was available. We plan to return !!
