The room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses, however, felt old and uneven; when turning over in bed, I felt like I was sliding toward the edge. Breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. The only downside was that the hotel was difficult to find—both Google Maps and Waze stopped about a block away, and when we tried to reroute, they kept taking us all over the city, back to the same place. Finding the entrance and parking in front was a bit confusing. Overall, it was a very good stay.

A pleasant hotel, in central Salamanca. If visiting by Car, you need to park remotely and walk 100 metres or so to the hotel

Room was clean and large. It was a little too hot I had to open the windows, which was slightly difficult because of the way they were set up. I couldn’t figure the air conditioning out. But the windows were fine in the end. Right off the plaza. Great Price point.

Great stay

Although, allow guest to control the AC, during the stay, the AC was handled remotely. Room temperature was ridiculously hot.

A fantastic hotel, with excellent breakfast buffet and so close to Plaza Mayor and the main attractions in Salamanca. Very helpful staff, who solved the problem with my mattress, promptly after the first night. (They added these fluffy mattress toppers that make you sink in them and twist your body until your spine hurts --and you wake up at 3 a.m.!) Advice to other travelers: test the mattress immediately after arrival, and if the stupid mattress topper is not what you want, ask them to remedy the issue right away.

We stayed at Catalonia hotels in Ronda and Donostia, we liked this one as well, clean and quiet room and very well located once you find parking. Two things we didn't like though, the receptionist (one in the picture) did not welcome us and kind of lied to us that the included sparkling wine was in the room, it was not. All other people working there were helpful and polite. Secondly, the bottle of sparkling wine included was small, we have VIP with Hotels .com and this is the first time ever we got half a bottle.

Hotel décevant pour un 4 étoiles : mobilier bas de gamme, toilette et bidet défectueux (cette dernière a été réparée à notre arrivée, mais le bidet ne l'a pas été. Lorsqu'à notre retour le soir nous sommes descendus à la réception pour signaler que le problème n'avait pas été résolu, le commis a haussé les épaules en disant qu'il ne pouvait rien faire...), "piscine" sur le toit qui est en fait un bain où seules 4 personnes peuvent se baigner, avec 4 chaises le long du mur. Par contre, le buffet du petit déjeuner est excellent, ainsi que le service.

Next to Plaza Mayor. Close to every important place in Salamanca. We would like to go back.

Very clean, staff super helpful. Location is excellent! Lots of cafes and restaurants. Supermarket around the block. Felt very safe walking around.
