The staff was AMAZING! Helped me with shipping my luggage back to the states! They went above and beyond to help and accommodate us! The room was clean and the location was great! We did have a lot of luggage and there is no elevator so they put us on a lower floor but there is still a lot of stairs so pack lighter!

The location of this hotel is perfect for getting to all the sites. The Louvre is a quick walk away. There is no elevator at this hotel so if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. We stayed on the 4th floor and it is a challenge if you are bringing large suitcases. We were thankful for only having one carry on and backpacks! The room was very comfortable and super quiet. We didn’t hear any street noise or other guests at all. The staff at the front desk we very polite and helpful. We were able to leave our bags while they got our room ready for us so we could explore.

We couldn’t completely close the curtains which let in too much light. We couldn’t adjust the A/C in the second bedroom. There was either no bathroom fan or it didn’t work. Not having a shower curtain would make most of the bathroom floor wet. On the plus side, the staff was nice and helpful.

Excellent location. We had a room with 1 queen & 1 twin beds. This worked excellently for 3 women on a girls' weekend. We could walk to the Louvre in less than 10 minutes. The only negative is that there is no elevator. This was fine for a weekend trip with small roller bags, but taking large luggage up the stairs could be an issue. The staff was friendly and kind. 2 of our travels were able to store their luggage and later, when they fully checked in, it was already in their room. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was overall fine and comfortable, but there was one major issue during our stay. Because the weather was cool, the central air conditioning was turned off, and we were told it could not be turned on in the rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms felt quite warm, so the only option was to open the window. However, there was a restaurant right below, and with the window open, strong food smells constantly came into the room. This made it uncomfortable, especially at night. Aside from that, the hotel itself was decent, but this situation affected our overall experience.

Great stay, dog friendly, close to The Louvre so great for walking dog. Note that there is NOT an elevator so a little awkward with dog kennel & luggage.

Had a smell that would come and go in our room, lot of impractical aspects of the room, shower leaked into the washroom, toilet paper was 1 ply, coffee machine didn’t work, key card didn’t work, no face cloth, sink was right below a shelf, etc. wouldnt suggest the hotel unless you are really imterested in the Japanese section of Paris

Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. It was a privilege to be at the centre of things at a relatively affordable rate. Everything was clean and nice; staff was helpful and friendly, which is the same at most places. The French service industry gets a bad wrap. If you are making the effort to speak one or two words in French and observe some basic etiquette, this will go a long way. I will note a couple of things about the room and hotel in particular that all visitors should know. There is no elevator in the hotel and if you are on the upper floors as we were, there are ALOT of stairs, so if you have any physical limitations, you might reconsider. The 100+ year old building is a complete gut renovation, so there is some residual awkwardness in the upper suites: the bathroom is small and the toilet is actually located behind the front door, which is actually down another flight of stairs--not ideal if you are a night bathroom user. Also, you see the low wood beams--be careful--we bonked our heads several times. We stayed in early April, so the weather was cool---AC was not a factor. Overall, you cannot beat the location for the price so I would highly recommend for that. The room is categorially nice, despite the minor things detailed above.
