The positives:
The location was perfect. So much was easily walkable and if it wasn't, the metro, which was easily walkable in several directions, could get you there.
The staff was great - always friendly and helpful. They were happy to bring us blankets when we needed them and always greeted is with a smile.
The room had plenty of space for 3 adults. The beds were comfortable.
Not so positive:
While our room was spacious, it was lacking in others ways. The room had 1 desk & a luggage rack, but no other surfaces. No other racks could be provided. So with 3 adults in the room, some of us had to work out of suitcases open on the floor. Not ideal.
Also our room (including bathroom) was in the eaves, so we had to walk around hunched over most of the time. Each of us hit our head on the angled ceiling at least once.
Even though we were on the top floor, the noise from outside was present thru the night. (How does anyone believe it is okay to bellow and yell at 3 or 4am??) 3 words: Bring. Your. Earplugs.
There was no coffee in the room, nor was any offered in the lobby. Sure, you could pay to buy the buffet breakfast, but unless you wanted to do that, there was no coffee nor any hot water for tea, other than from the tap.
And most displeasing (especially paying north of 250€ per night), was the mold around the edge of the shower (and the clean but clingy shower curtain). If I were staying in a hostel, perhaps I wouldn't be surprised. But here, I was surprised.
