Rooms are ok. Typical of early 2000's italian designs. It shows his age now. Location is on the outskirts next to Industrial estate. If you visiting for business in near by estate the Location is perfect. However if you like walking it's probably not the best. It is not that far from the town centre(San Giovanni is quite small),cbut you have to walk on the Industrial estate roads to get to pavements leading you to town centre and that is not ideal. Especially if you don't know the town that well. Breakfast is average. There is rooftop restaurant which looks promising.

Don't be fooled, it's not a 4-star hotel, max 3. It's old, worn down, in need of urgent repair. Behind the bed are full of dust, the curtains are dirty, there is mold in the corners of the shower cabin, even laundry menu paper left used. Bad sound isolation.

The service is good. Having said that, rooms had issue. We got a room where the AC leaked from the roof, the hotel gave us an alternative room( 👍). The second room also had issue with the shower, the floor of the shower felt as though it was about to break and the water clogged. Rooms seem clean at first but you will be able to see it's not well cleaned(we saw suspicious white liquid on walls).

I checked in last night and they gave us in upgraded room because no other room was available. Wonderful. But that room AC fan was making loud noises all through the night, turning on and off. There was no AC control in the room, so we couldn't turn it off. We couldn't rest properly and woke up early to warn reception. We let them know of this problem and they asked us what time we would be back at the end of the day because the problem would be fixed, and it would be okay when we arrived. We got to the hotel and asked if maintenance had solved the issue, to which the receptionist replied that all the problems had been fixed. As soon as we got into the room the AC fan was making the exact same noise we had recorded in the morning and showed the receptionist. We went back to reception, and they moved us to an older smaller room, where the WiFi is actually terrible, but at least tonight we can sleep. However, we feel that the hotel did not make (and is not making) an effort to solve the problem, no compensation or favour was offered, and we were the ones who, after a bad night's sleep, had to move rooms when the hotel management refuses to acknowledge and solve the AC problem. This isn't fair nor right. I wish they hadn't upgraded us and we could have slept a bit better.

Upon checking in we were told that the hotel had recently been renovated so I had high hopes for a clean and modern hotel. Room itself was fairly spacious with a big window and ‘modernish’ interior. The bathroom was okay with a separate door for the toilet as well. However, the AC was really weak and room was uncomfortably hot and mucky. The bed was very hard and the bedding had a few stains on it as well. The bathroom had weird marks of wear and tear in many places and it seemed overall quite dirty. I’ve never seen a shower head that disgusting tbh. Also, the water stopped twice while showering. The floor of the entire room needs a good clean as well… We didn’t book this hotel and to be frank I can’t recommend it either. One positive thing was that the staff was very friendly.
