This hotel is magnificent. The building is over a 10 centuries old but very well renovated while keeping its charm. It felt like being at home. The staff are very kind and friendly. The location is just perfect at a short walk from the Rialto bridge and a minute from the Grand Canal. There is a great restaurant and terrasse right in front with great food, amazing for a calm relaxing time. Thank you for the memorable time.

Il Sogno di Giulietta e Romeo, Campo San Cassiano, 1858, 30125 Venezia VE, Italy. I really didn’t know what to expect as a lot of Hotels in Venice aren’t easy to find as they can just be a wooden door. I found the front of house staff extremely helpful and always had a smile for you. Housekeeping was terrible, the beds were never made they just had the covers pulled up, For the whole 5 nights we stayed we never had a working bar fridge and the weather was warm so no cold drinks and also they don’t provide milk. Quite often I had to ask for tbags/Coffee etc as they were never topped up by housekeeping. Breakfast was an overall good spread except for the fact that the warmer the eggs, bacon and sausage were kept in was never hot, so no matter what time you had breakfast hot food was lucky to even be warm, the lady that looked after breakfast was lovely though. Overall we enjoyed our stay even with those little hiccups

Regarding breakfast, if you like cold scrambled eggs and bacon, dished up every morning then this for you, menu was always the same. Cold , never no verity. The bed was past its used bye date, pillows were well used, and on 1 occasion our room didn’t get serviced, no towels, bed not even made, And when the bed was made, all they did was pull the covers up And to get any English speaking on the TV was next to impossible Stay away

The hotel is just great. Location is what you need in Venice, very close to the Rialto Bridge and from there everywhere in Venice. It was super clean, the place smell amazing and everything was super super clean. Breakfast was good and included. You have choices including hot breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. A bit slow to reply to our whatsapps before arrival but we got all the info we needed on time anyway. Highly recommended. We loved it. It is in a small square in Venice next to a canal with a restaurant and an ice cream place just on the door step

The place is clean. The location is good. It's extra bonus to have breakfast which is really convenient! Staffs were friendly, courteous and helpful. It could be a bit noisy, sometimes sometimes coming from the heating in the room, sometimes from the other guests as the room was next to the breakfast room. But overall it's not bad, typical of what you would expect from a hotel of its calibre.

The room and breakfast were outstanding. We stayed in the luxury (Soft) room with the hot tub. The room was overall fantastic, but I would note that the water does not run hot enough for a hot bath in the whirlpool tub (first world problems). The water is good enough for a hot shower though. All that said, the hotel's location is central to Venice, on the route that goes between the train station (Ferrarovia) and Rialto Bridge/San Marco Piazzo. Easy to find your way, but a little touristy. That said, good bars and Cichetti can be found by walking a few minutes north or south from the hotel. A good hotel to get lost and wander Venice from. Not a note on the hotel, but recommend taking one of the hotel maps (and a small compass). Venice, as well as many denser Italian cities, is not conducive to GPS.

Avoid at all costs. Photos are deceptive. The hotel is dingy, feels worn and tired, staff are rude and unhelpful, rooms are inaccurate to the photos posted online. I was given a room without a real window. Just a small dark box. Staff wouldn't help or make it right.

We very much enjoyed our stay. This was a convenient location, 5 minute walk to two Vaparetto stations, 5 minutes to Rialto bridge. Room was beautifully appointed.

We loved our stay here and hope to be back again soon! Venice is truly magical. We started our honeymoon here and then headed on a cruise to Greece. We spent three nights in one of the upgraded rooms with the hot tub. Location was perfect and it was so nice having the hot tub. I think only complaint was the thin/not comfy pillows but that seems to be standard in Europe, lol. Great staff and place!

Nice property for Venice absolutely dated, but that’s par for the course in this area. Staff was very friendly and helpful rooms were smaller than what appeared to be in the picture. Beautiful chandelier over the bed.
