The room was very large which was great, but a tad worn. the decor was fun. The night desk staff person was very welcoming and a delight. There is a lovely cat outside. Parking onsite was convenient and the walkable location to La Cite was perfect!

I have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel and was very pleased with it. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, happy to assist in any way. Every staff member that I spoke to had fluent English, which was appreciated. I did not have a car myself but I could always see plenty of available spaces in the car park. The hotel surrounding area is quiet and felt quite safe for me, as a female walking around alone. It took me about 15 minutes to walk to the medieval city from the hotel, at an easy stroll pace. It is possible to walk to the more modern part of the city from the hotel, I did this once, but I mostly found it easier to get the number 2 bus which stops just by the hotel. Food at the hotel was very good. Breakfast included a range of various pastries, cereals, yogurts, cooked meats and cheeses. There were no hot options, but a toaster was available for guest use, also a machine for cooking eggs. I also had evening meal at the hotel, which was very tasty and reasonably priced - 27 Euros inc. tax for two courses. So to summarise, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Decent 2-3 star hotel on the outskirts of the city but only a 10 min walk to the Medieval city. Staff were this hotels greatest asset. Building is tired and decorated by a person that clearly didn't know when to stop the Medieval theme. Main road into the city .... not pleasant, in fact run-down.

Great place

Ideally situated hotel, a 7 minute flat walk to the Cité along a quiet road. Hotel is quirkily decorated to reflect Carcassonne's history and is very comfortable and quiet. They serve food in the evenings, although the night we decided to eat there the restaurant was closed due to a private booking and we had to get taxis to/from the city centre.... Breakfast is good with plenty of choices and eat inside or out on the terrace, got a well stocked bar that wasn't that expensive too. All in all a great hotel for visiting the Cité

Extremely family friendly. The only thing that could’ve been better was breakfast, but otherwise we really enjoyed it. Love that they had a kids area to play.

The hotel was fantastic facilities were well kept and maintained to a high standard. Really enjoyed the theming of the hotel in a medieval style it was a great touch. Staff were really friendly and were always happy to help.

Check in and staff fantastic , 5* . Room ok , but shortage of pillows meant I personally didn’t sleep great , but bed comfortable. Room space tight , not sure what the straw stools are for , change them , and the bed table isn’t good … Room needs a fridge and AC looked at . Pool is ok , beds great but 2 umbrellas fought over by people up and saving all day coming only for 1 hour 😡 that’s disrespectful of guests but 2 isn’t enough . 2 euros to hire towels that are tea towel size , pathetic really ! Breakfast good , fresh orange juice maker always broken , probably overworked or kids ! Selection choice good , and tasty but chaos , poorly set out in a row , means queue upon queue , sections would work better .. Parking great , location is good for medieval city .

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!

The whole family had a great stay at this hotel, the rooms, pool and dining area were all spotless and the staff went out of their way to help whenever we had a question or a problem. My partner and I kept remarking how hard everyone was working, but still the staff were always friendly and helpful.

Place was fantastic. Location beautiful. View excellent. Owner can seem brusque but he’s a teddy bear. Spa is extra charges so we didn’t take advantage of.

Nice hotel. Great clean pool. Good breakfast. Clean room. Allows dogs. Perfect for us.

Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. Good value for money. Good buffet breakfast. Restaurant should be open every evening. I was disappointed it was closed on Sunday evening. Breakfast was busy (which was expected) however, if you introduce a system whereby guests can clear their own trays this would free up tables quicker.
