Lovely hotel, excellent decor modern with a period twist. The room was really nice with a beautiful modern en-suite bathroom, complete with nice toiletries. The breakfast was great with quality ingredients, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended and will book again when I'm planning on staying in the area.

Breakfast good and staff friendly. Hotel needs a deep clean especially the rooms and bathrooms. Lots of dust and cobwebs. Poor maintenance, blocked sinks, paint needs touching up, due for redecorating

The member doing check in (and manning the bar) was excellent. We had booked a twin room but we’re given a King. He sorted it very quickly. Parking was awful and misleading on the website as there were only 4 spaces and the road outside was chaos with an event at the nearby school.

Wonderful stay at The Crown for two nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful with great breakfast options. We stayed in the double room which was lovely, spacious & clean with a lovely view. Would stay again

Excellent hotel. The only disappointment was the staff’s insistence on closing the bar early. It was a lovely night to sit outside but they wanted to leave and turned all lights off and closed the doors.
