Was totally surprised by this place excellent all round. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff the accommodation was great amazing beds and food was excellent. Totally 10/10 stars

Breakfast good and staff friendly. Hotel needs a deep clean especially the rooms and bathrooms. Lots of dust and cobwebs. Poor maintenance, blocked sinks, paint needs touching up, due for redecorating

The member doing check in (and manning the bar) was excellent. We had booked a twin room but we’re given a King. He sorted it very quickly. Parking was awful and misleading on the website as there were only 4 spaces and the road outside was chaos with an event at the nearby school.

Wonderful stay at The Crown for two nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful with great breakfast options. We stayed in the double room which was lovely, spacious & clean with a lovely view. Would stay again

Excellent hotel. The only disappointment was the staff’s insistence on closing the bar early. It was a lovely night to sit outside but they wanted to leave and turned all lights off and closed the doors.

We loved staying here, the room was gorgeous, pub was lovely, food was delicious and the staff were welcoming! We will be back!

Boutique rooms are superb, very comfortable bed, roll top bath, and separate shower, Great staff and the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had 10/10

We loved our stay at the crown, the hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and to such a high quality, the breakfast included in the room rate is cooked to such a high quality using the best quality ingredient very impressive. The restaurant for an evening meal was also very good. We will be staying here again without hesitation as the staff on top are truly so lovely an hospitable.

Beautiful room, friendly staff at check in and the pub restaurant looked stunning. Just a shame the lady on breakfast wasn’t as engaging as the lady who welcomed me in the evening. I was expecting a standard pu. Room but was very pleasantly surprised

Great to see a family run pub, the staff were very friendly and Angela was great with her wit and banter. The English breakfast cooked by an Australian was one of the best we have had to date. Very good atmosphere and would return when we are back down that way again.
