The staff were great. Booked the hotel for my daughter's dental surgery. So picked canad inn for the pool it looked great from the pictures. But the pool had lots of dirt and bugs floating in it. And when we got into our room it was so hot and really smelled like chlorine from the pool, we turned the air conditioner on before we went for supper came back and it didn't cool the room down much what so ever. We were gonna go to the front desk an try amd switch rooms but my toddler and newborn were so tired from the day the just passed out and we didn't want to pack then up and move them. I dont think we would stay again or recommend canad inn garden city.

The rooms were very outdated not a lot of plug-ins or USB ports. The AC was very weak and they had a standalone fan in there to help move air. It was very stuffy and muggy and didn’t smell the greatest. When showering the tub didn’t drain right away so there was always water in the bottom. Water always got out of the shower curtain, which made the floor quite wet. We had breakfast on the Saturday morning and after we paid and went back to the room and looked at the receipt we were charged $25.99 per adult for the breakfast buffet which we thought was quite steep. I did go down to the restaurant and ask why it was so much and it was punched in incorrectly and should’ve only been $16.99 and they did refund us for the difference. And when we went to check out they confirmed we had a $10 charge from the restaurant at which I disputed since we did not charge anything to our room. They said the charge was from the first night Friday at which I said we essentially checked in and went to bed, so there was no way we had charged anything to the room. I kept pushing that we did not do this. My husband even confirmed he didn’t charge anything. When the front staff looked into receipts from the charge It was actually a charge for a different room that the restaurant staff charged to our room instead of the correct room.

Girl at front desk was so rude and turned us down after I used my visa debit at other places So even though I had an e-gift card I won they wouldn't take it! The girl was very rude and should have been more helpful!!

The cleaning service were no good. Left garbage in our room, didn’t replace any toilet paper. Washroom and tables weren’t wiped down. TV was glitching out. 2/10.

Room was clean, pool is clean& close to shopping

Older rooms, a bit damp, but there was a heat wave prior to our arrival. Room was clean and basic.

Jonathan Blain went beyond the expected service. When he saw that I was a retired Service Member he sought out ways to improve our stay and then some. He even provided us with a breakfast coupon. Jonathan sets the bar for others to achieve. Bravo Zulu to this gentlemen.

The beds could do for replacement, rugs need a good cleaning or replaced. Had to get TV fixed twice. Also had to ask for new clean towels have the room cleaned n beds made.

Hotel was nice and rooms were clean. The pool area was nice as well. The slide was a nice addition and the water mushroom for the kids section was super cute.

The parking had huge potholes and that could have been taken care of
