Paid more for the room than what we could have had else where. We have had much nicer rooms for $50/N less. Buffet was atrociously expensive for the Saturday night prime rib buffet $35 per person was the senior rate plus they added on gratuities for work that was never done because it was a buffet and our bill turned out to be $88 for two people. The only serving done was someone plunked a couple jugs of water on the table. The prime rib itself was half fat, aren’t the buffet servers, conscientious these days enough to cut the fat off before giving it to the people? That’s a heart attack waiting to happen. Also, there were three dents in our room. On the back of the bathroom door, there were big red handprints, at first I thought it was blood scared the heck out of me. Maybe it actually was but I wasn’t gonna look too closely.

The room we received was very musty and the carpet was so dirty that it triggered my allergies even through i had taken an allergy pill that day. There was a fan blowing in the room when we arrived so obviously they knew the carpet was gross. Beds were lumpy and lopsided. What was supposed to be a three night stay was only a one night stay. We checked out early the next morning. Hallways, carpet and decor in the hotel need serious updating. Would not stay here again.

Family friendly hotel

Friendly staff quiet and has handicap parking and stores are close by so I suggest this hotel

I got put in a room far away from the elevator, which normally is great (less traffic in the hallway), but I now have a problem walking (bad hip), so I asked if I could move to a different room. They moved me with no argument -- just made the switch no problem. The hot tub was a perfect temperature. The restaurant had an amazing Saturday night Prime Rib buffet. If I had been so inclined, there were two bars in the same building. This is a great spot at a very low price.

I would return

I was here for my high school reunion at the Event Center. It was perfect. There was a breakfast great deal. Room was nice. Tip - use the hanger clip to close the window curtains. The heat/AC is the older style lower window type but it worked ok. Yash printed my airplane boarding pass. There is no standalong computer office area. Did not use pool. I would stay again.

Friendly staff ,, convenient are near restaurant, mall,. Just by my bad luck the air conditioner was not working and we slept one night 26 C inside , next day they moved us from room.

The Staff there went out of their way to help me with my accommodation. When I needed to add a day to my stay they were very helpful and friendly and professional.Great service.

The only thing we had was the yelling and screaming next room other than that everything is great

Highly recommend this place for easy access to a lot of restaurants and easy shopping

The rooms are getting a bit dated and the carpets needed a good gleaning

This was my first time staying at Canad Inns Garden City. Smaller hotel than Canad Inn Polo Park, but has similar layout with pool and hottub. My room had a king size bed, fridge, microwave, tv, virtual fireplace, desk and chair, and chair. The bathroom was very large and comfortable. The hotel and room was quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent. It is right beside Superstore, and a short walk to Canadian Tire and Dollarama, and about a 15 minute walk to Walmart. Easy bus access on McPhillips. I am going to stay here again.

It was awesome to stay there. The entrance was under construction, but it was very clean and enjoyable my stay there.

Kids loved the slide and pool. They also loved the food at the restaurant. Fun time.

Kids friendly place to stay!

Dated and a little dingy. Beds were comfortable and kids enjoyed the pool area.

Room was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Air cleaner noisy. Handle on bathroom door didn’t work properly. Hand prints on the wall

First time staying here. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Winnipeg. My nephew was also impressed and would not hesitate to stay there
