All good

We loved this hotel with its grandma’s house vibes and quirky furnishings. The balconies are lovely and the old-fashioned tiny elevator with a folding door was fun to ride (although amusingly slow). The staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations, transfers, luggage storage, etc. After a couple of nights at the Cavalieri exploring Corfu Town and the surrounding area, we took the ferry to Sarande, Albania for a family wedding, and then came back to Corfu Town three days later via ferry a couple of hours prior to our flight out of Corfu to our next destination. Even though we had checked out of the Cavalieri days earlier when we headed to Albania, the staff kindly let us store our luggage and helped us hail a taxi to the airport. The Cavalieri’s staff are simply the best! Also, the little coffee bar next door has the most delicious Greek yogurt breakfast bowls for a very reasonable price! Finally, nothing beats the rooftop of the Cavalieri Hotel for a drink at golden hour/sunset! The waiters were great and the drinks were tasty plus the views, of course, can’t be beat! Our only suggestion would be to modernize the beds, as they are not the most comfortable. And we were there in May, so I can’t vouch for the air conditioner. But overall, the pictures are accurate, the staff are lovely, and it’s a great value with a terrific location.

Staff was very accommodating

The hotel was as we expected from reading past reviews, old and quirky but clean , everything in the bedroom was perfectly clean, bedding was fresh and white and changed more often than needed to be including towels. Breakfast was great, everything you could want and everything was replenished as soon as it ran out.Staff were all helpful and a very convenient location to stay in, just a short walk to everything you need and plentiful restaurants nearby.

The staff were helpful and courteous. The bedrooms cleaned every day with the towels changed everyday and the sheets changed during the middle of our 5 day stay. Bottled water was placed in our room each day and additional water offered on request if necessary. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot and cold food available on the buffet counters which were regularly replenished. A really enjoyable stay.

Ideally located. Very nice and accommodating staff. Good breakfast. Some front rooms have view of the sea unfortunately I wasn’t in one of them. Reasonably priced.

The room was spacious and had an incredible view with a tiny balcony overlooking the sea and the fortress. The staff were so nice and helpful, especially the gentleman in the breakfast room who got me decaf every day The hotel is on one end of the Spaniarda Square, a short five minute walk to the center of things but quiet. The hotel is old-fashioned but that is its charm; everything was clean and in working order. And breakfast was very good; so plentiful we didn't eat again until late afternoon every day. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Corfu Old Town!

The hotel location and room made our Corfu stay an absolute dream. Morning dip in the ocean, stroll through the beautiful park and streets were just steps away. Would definitely go back to Corfu and stay here again!

The year is 2025, unless you stay here, where it is 1985.

Great service with - great coffee options.

Breakfast was good, buffet type, both hot and cold fare. coffee and juice machines easy to operate. Restaurant staff very attentive. Room good, cleaned a couple of times we were there only complaint was the hotel was at the top end of the old town, so there was a slight incline to walk up to the hotel.

Amazing staff on reception and a super helpful chap greets you, takes cases up, takes cases out to taxi in the morning….he even had an umbrella for us as was stormy. Hotel in need of updating BUT clean, comfortable for a 1 night stay and so well located for mooching around Corfu town

After disembarking from our sailboat, it was so wonderful that they were able to have our room ready for us early, and for them to have brought our luggage up while we visited the Archaeological Museum! We also enjoyed our dinner at their rooftop restaurant!
