A clean hotel and a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Parking is extremely limited but the West End Road car park is only a short walk away and both reasonable cost and easy to pay via the MiPermit app (which will give you a Vat receipt afterwards). The buffet style breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean and the staff helpful.

This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match and then walked back after the game. I’d definitely stay there again (but Ipswich is a long way from the Boro for an away game) UTB!!

Great value for money and great proximity to town

Nice enough hotel as a whole, clean and well presented. Negative is the hard bed with spings that could be felt. Not the best sleep.

The bedroom was basic but comfortable and clean. However, there was only one small wondow giving very little natural light. The heating seemed uncontrollable and the staff tried to help but without effect. The bathroom is a wet room. There is nowhere to hang towels. The extractor fan is very weak. We were not aware of a parking charge before our arrival. Parking is limited with insufficient spaces.

Breakfast was quite good, nice pastries and yoghurts. Room was pretty simple. Bathroom could’ve been cleaned a bit better before arrival and the loo flush kept breaking so was a bit flimsy.

Apparently pets allowed but I didn’t have the dog with me. Everything very clean and functional.

Amazing property, located just 5 mins walk from the Ipswich Railway Station. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, delicious breakfast and an amazing breakfast.

As always, the room was clean ( yes even under the bed) , the staff are always polite and you feel they are actually pleased to see you. Looking forward to my next stay.

Very clean and with friendly staff. I was fairly impressed with the breakfast - a good range and plentiful - but less so with the bed, which was no more than OK, especially with only one pillow each.

Great staff, clean rooms and very welcoming!

We came for the football on the Saturday and we was very impressed with the hotel, rooms were nice, decent bar, excellent breakfasts, although we didn’t eat in the hotel the menu was excellent and not overly expensive, and from what we saw people eating it looked very nice. As most hotels there always seems to be an issue with the breakfasts on a Sunday morning as they ran out of glasses for the juice, then had to wait 20 minutes for bacon, then the coffee machine ran out, but it does seem to be the norm at most hotels as this is something we always see. Having said that the young lady was running round doing her very best and was very polite and like I already mentioned the breakfast was well worth waiting for. Hopefully be back one day.

This is an obviously well run hotel with first impressions catered for. The staff are all pleasant and welcoming and the room well laid out with plenty of room to breathe. The air conditioning worked well and more importantly was quiet in its operation. Close to the main station and just a short walk to town. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of hot and cold food. The evening meal, though expensive, was excellent and a good portion was given. All in all an excellent place to stay.

They allow you to leave a case before or after you check out, for a couple of hours. The Travelodge suddenly stopped allowing this, so this hotel is much better for ITFC fans who don’t have a car in which to lock luggage. The breakfast is better too, although they could do with an extra coffee machine for peak times. They allowed me to check in early, which was great.

I struggled with the code for the room and I prefer a key card Over a code And I would love to have some hot chocolate sachets to drink before I go to bed And would like to have some event warning at the toilets or sink aren’t functioning properly. The sink was fine but the toilet wasn’t And. If I had a three nights day I would’ve mentioned it and moved luckily I mentioned it but I didn’t move this time, but if I stayed for three or four nights, I would’ve asked to change rooms
