We really loved staying at this place. Quaint old-style hotel with modern touches. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with great views from the balcony. We loved the traditional shutters to keep out the morning sun. Relaxing public areas including several decks, a sun bed area and an outdoor restaurant. Several evenings they have live music and when they don’t, you have a great collection of vinyl and a record player to entertain you. Best of all, a well-stocked 24 hour bar with a good wine selection by the glass or bottle. Highly recommended.

An excellent family run hotel, would definitely recommend. The location is great, very central. I loved having breakfast in the garden, and the welcoming feel of the bar / lounge in the evenings often with live music. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and exactly what I wanted for a short break. The hotel has real charm and feels unique and independent, which I really loved.

Villefranche-Sur-Mer is an ideal spot to use as a home base if you want to visit other communities along the Côte D’Azur and Hôtel Le Provençal is the perfect place to stay. With idyllic views and a buffet breakfast, you are set up for an enjoyable experience. Both Lisa and Maggie at the front desk were extremely helpful when it came to planning our outings. Also Mathias at the bar was exceptional, charming guests with his piano playing and serving some amazing french wines. I guess the only downside to this beautiful hotel are the thin walls which carry sound easily. But a small price to pay for this charismatic hotel.

Very nice, really charming hotel in a great location.  The staff were very helpful and friendly and there was always staff available. The service was excellent. Good strong air conditioning. The lobby and garden are super nice places for a drink before or after your dinner or other outings.   There is also a small food menu available . Our room had a great view of the Mediterranean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel location is great – just a short walk to local restaurants and the various area beaches. There is no parking on the premises, but the hotel can offer some assistance with the local parking and there is paid parking available in local garages.  We got a little lucky and found a public parking spot fairly quickly and the 4 days of parking only costs us about 25 EURO. The breakfast and the breakfast garden were really great, charming.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. I enjoyed that it was within easy walking distance of the town and anything I wanted to do. I appreciated the gorgeous view from my balcony and enjoyed the communal garden area. One thing I was disappointed by was having to pay to check in early, I've almost never encountered this in my travels and I was staying for 4 nights, you'd think they could accommodate me 2 hours early without a charge. I did love the pink decor and they made a nice freddo espresso at the bar! Overall good value for money minus the charge and the fact that breakfast wasn't included so I didn't have any.
