Everything OK, but the property is falling apart.

This is no longer called the Panamericana Hotel. It is called the Arica Hotel on Google Maps and the sign on the building. There is apparently a Panamericana Norte Hotel across town so be careful. Fortunately the address listed on Expedia is correct although confusing; only the name is wrong. Our stay was great. Ocean view room and comfortable bed. Beautiful pool area. Amenities seem great.

Happy with our choice of hotel in Arica. Relatively quiet, a little walk from the town but not a problem. Nice to have 2 pools close to the sea. Hotel a little " tired" in parts but comfortable. Breakfast buffet very good. Enjoyed bar and restaurant food too. Staff generally good.

Great room, 3 pools, good breakfast selection, delicious lunch, easy and central to walk area, loved birding out our door.

The hotel is well located, right on the beach. The common areas were actually nice looking. The rooms were a bit tired (paint dirty, tile broken, mold in shower, drain wouldn't drain properly, etc.) The bed and pillows were fabulous. The staff was great, breakfast was very good and plenty of it. I'd go back, for sure.

It is an outdated hotel. Pool supplies (towels, etc) are in a disgrace condition. They should be ashamed they give those to customers.

Great Location, the beds are very comfortable amazing ocean view, excellent breakfast and service, but the rooms need some improvement.

The place is clean and has an incredible view because is in front of the beach, it has nice swimming pools and the restaurant is very good, but it doesn’t have a fitness center and there are no divisions between smoking and no smoking rooms, and the smell of smoke is fiktered to your room if an adjacent room has smoker people, also tap water has a foul smell

The location by the sea was wonderful. We loved the nearby beaches and the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep.

The property is right by the ocean. You wake up in the morning and can see the beautiful beach and hear the seagulls. The personnel is very pleasant and helpful.

Quite a long way from town. More of a business hotel. Ticks all the boxes in terms of practicalities & has decent breakfast buffet, other than that disappointing. Mediocre sea views, chairs on terrace covered in bird poo.

I have been going to this Hotel in Arica since the 70's and has always been my favorite in Arica. The excellent location for a relaxing time wether for beach, for ocean views, for walks on the coast or into town, terrace lunches or evening meals, lounging by the pool and their kids programs, make it superb. They have maintained it well over the years and continuous upkeep keeps it pleasant. The personnel very accommodating. Will continue making yearly visits.

Stayed two nights. They let us in well before check in time which was very appreciated.

It's Arica, the options are limited. I would stay again

On the edge of town, about a five min cab ride from the centre of things ... But is on a beach, very quiet, and a good restaurant. The operations manager, whose name escapes me, cudnt have been more helpful and sorted out our airline reservation mixup for us. He should be the hotel chains president someday.

easy to notice that the best time of this hotel have already passed. Run down with little to no investment. Hotel benefits from its location and lack of competition.
