Overnight stay on our way to St Malo

Excellent as always. This is our third stay and will be happy to stay again.

Last minute stopover, good night's sleep. Friendly reception. Basic price, basic amenities. Good sized double bed, good shower in Bath. Free car park. Asked for room not facing the main road, so was quieter.

Clean and simple one night hotel.

As soon as room door was opened the musty smell was unbelievable. When we pulled down the sheet the bottom sheet was stained. Left the next after paying for 12 nights

Hôtel located very closed to highway, so easy to come and leave, however noisy during night. Reception lady was a vert nice person, happy to help and who brought a stong support to several questions about the city.

Good hotel. Excellent breakfast.About 10 minute drive from downtown.

Easy to find, staff and check in was really easy, rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Some lovely restaurants only a few km away. We went to Thiers Temps which I would highly recommend. Breakfast was def value for money,lovely and fresh with lots of choice. Would stay there again.

Hotel Inn Design, great location, lovely staff, very nice evening meal and parking in front of chalet door. I always stay here when passing La Rochelle, if you need to go into La Rochelle centre or harbour it is also convenient but the traffic through the town is very heavy with several detours and roadworks.

Lovely Family hosted our stay and made us feel welcome. Good value for money. Nice meal

This is a budget hotel. It overlooks a main road, it's very noisy. You have to bear in mind the next hotel was charging more than twice. The hotel was pretty clean, the staff were friendly. But the air conditioning didn't work. The water was scalding hot. Their breakfast, although basic was good and good value. You will need to drive almost anywhere - although the parking is free at the hotel.

A quick stop on our outbound journey. We liked it so much we stayed again on our return trip.

The two ladies who were organising everything themselves were very very helpful to us. They worked very hard and still had time to help us with a problem with a cancelled flight. They were cheerful and friendly and nothing was a problem for them. If only everyone could be like them.

For a Budget Hotel we were very happy. Lots of amenities in the room. Good sized bathroom. Reception Guy had a good sense of humour and was very helpful. Very hot day and A/C did not cope, small problem. Next time I am in La Rochelle I will stay again. Great value.

For the money I paid the room was very comfortable, especially the bed which had good quality bed linen and decent pillows. There is a certain amount of road noise, so if noise is a factor for you, as for a room that is the opposite side from the motorway. The hotel have actually done there best no minimise outside noise by the use of a double door into the room and double gazed windows. As a non smoker I do have one complaint, and that is interspersing smoking and non smoking rooms on the same level. It was a warm sunny evening when I arrived so I sat watching the sun go down with a glass of wine from my open doorway, the problem was that the rooms either side of my non smoking rooms were smoking rooms and I could smell the smoke and used cigarettes from the ashtrays mounted to the outside walls of these rooms. There is free wifi but it is rather slow, but hey, free is free... Room Tip: Ask for a room the opposite side from the motorway to reduce noise

The room was cheap so decent value and all we needed it for was a place to rest before moving on but the wifi was pretty bad and it's a bit worn. Ok.

Very basic rooms. A little out of town but on close to the motorway so a convenient stopover.

Good hotel, very clean, would stay here again.
