The location is very good, near to the station, shopping

The hotel is near the Ueno station. I like to stay here even the bedroom is kind of small. The hotel staff also helpful and the amenities was nice for small hotel. The price is absolutely reasonable.

This hotel is recommended. From Ueno Station, walk to the Central Exit and head towards Asakusa Exit. Only about 100 meters from the station to the hotel. I can't have breakfast, but it's not a problem because it's not far from the hotel. I don't see a mini market near that place and I didn't explore the area around the hotel. The hotel and its surroundings are very clean. The planet is narrow because the baggage that is entrusted to the hotel by guests is placed in front of the receptionist, surrounds the living room and is covered with nets. There was also placed a microwave that could be used by hotel guests, the Doutor beverage machine (coffee, tea, and chocolate) seemed to be taken free of charge by hotel guests. I do not know because I always forget to try to get a drink in the machine. A small smoking room is also provided in the corner of the lobby. At the reception desk provided bath salt and facial cleansing wipes that can be taken free by guests staying at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also provide extra bath salt and face masks when guests check in. They also gladly allowed me to have breakfast in the lobby and use a microwave even though I wasn't allowed to enter the room (check in). There is no free mineral water available in the room, but guests can take unlimited drinking water in the dispenser provided by the hotel in the lobby (1st floor). There is an elevator but the size is small. On the floor of my room there is also a vending machine for drinks (paid). The room itself is quite spacious in my opinion compared to other hotels with a size of about 14 square meters because there is no wardrobe, but they provide clothes hangers and large glass attached to the wall near the entrance, in front of the bathroom and toilet. There is no table between 2 beds, but there is a small place to place things (against the wall of the bed). Even so, still given a distance between beds around 0.5 meters. By the window, beside the bed there is a chair and a small table for writing or I use it to eat. There is also a chair for the dressing table. On the dressing table are television sets, telephones, hair dryers (in drawers), free wifi (it looks like mobile wifi and may be taken out of the hotel to be borrowed), and electric kettle. In the dresser drawer also provided cups, coffee, tea, sugar, cream, and free chocolate snacks. Under the dressing table is a refrigerator and next to the dressing table is a water purifier. All facilities in the room function properly. Unfortunately I didn't get to Amyoko shopping street even though the location is not far from the hotel. When I booked I got a price of around 1,200,000 rupiah for 2 people. Pretty decent to get a fairly spacious room at that price in Tokyo. Thank you Hotel New Ueno for the service. Nice!

Convenient to JR station. Not far from keisei ueno. There is a restaurant not far from Ameyoko market. The staff are friendly. There are towels changed every day. No water. There are full bathroom accessories. The room is non-smoking but still has a faint odor. If people don't smoke it will smell. If people are accustomed to sleeping in a Japanese style room, the room is very narrow, almost can not put the bag, must put the table in the closet first. Arrange a new bed to have a walk

Pros: - excellent location. Just 1 min. Walk from asakusa exit, jr ueno station. Shopaholics especially at ameyoko market would love it. - free ice cubes and water available at the lobby even though no complimentary water in room - clean room. Small pieces of chocolate and candies are provided in room as souvenirs. - staff are helpful. Especially the housekeeper at 7th floor is so nice and devoted. Cons: - dank bathroom. Seem like there is little ventilation in the bathroom. - the hotel has some restaurants on the 3rd floor, not sure they're kind of "isakaya." and some pubs and bars locate near it. So in the night you can hear annoying noise and shouts from the drunks. - triple room is a double room with an extra bed. So don't expect to stay in a spacious and comfortable room. No space for your big luggage.

Very close to UNO station, many places to eat making it easier for us as a traveler.

The room may be a bit narrow. But the hotel is very near to the BTS station Near the shopping district, check out and can also leave the bag at the lobby. Overall, it's ok.

The rooms are nice not as narrow as other hotel hotels, the staff is very friendly, and from the station just crossing.

The hotel is right next ueno station, strategic location, clean rooms, friendly staff, cool amenities.

The location of the hotel is very close to JR Ueno Station. There are many places to eat and convenience stores around the hotel.

The hotel is quite old but well-maintained and clean. The receptionist was very helpful friendly. We stayed in room 418 with a ryokan model and a futon bed. Quite comfortable and a different experience. Overall quite satisfying. The hotel location is very close to Ueno Station, Ueno park, Ameya Yokocho and many more so it is very strategic.

2 minutes walk Ueno St Asakusa exit. Close to Ueno Park and Ameyoko Market. Their staff are friendly, room is big enough for 3 of us.

A tiny and lovely hotel. Good location, close to Ueno station and about 5 minutes walk to Ueno park.

It's convenient, but for the first time, it may be a little confusing to find a hotel.
