Family run hotel. Room was comfortable breakfast was included but cost of shuttle was not clear at booking.

Our stay at acorn lodge was wonderful! Just what we needed after a long day of travelling. Super speedy check in even at midnight! Bed was comfy, shower was powerful. Breakfast was fab, lots of choice and really tasty.

The property is old so there are some things that can't be made better unless it's remodeled. With that said, the property is a great accommodation for an overnight layover from Gatwick Airport. Breakfast items are available very early so you can grab something before your early flight and the shuttle service was very dependable. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in pretty run down condition. The shower in our room didn't drain, the outlet and TV didn't work, it was too hot and provided fan was very loud (the windows were to the parking lot on the street level and the workers smoked just outside). There was no fridge in the room so we couldn't save our food and the continental breakfast was as basic as could be. The carpets are dingy and the halls narrow and dark. All-in-all pretty tired and not very welcoming. The staff member at the front desk was helpful in coordinating our (paid) shuttle to the airport and providing extra pillows when requested.

Handy indian restaurant as part of the stay. Breakfast was limited but enough. Beds comfy and enough pillows. The room was very clean and spacious and we used their shuttle service for £15 to the terminal.

It’s a cheap hotel in the area so you get what you pay for. The hotel is smelly, as well as the staff, but they are nice.

Very basic room, stains on duvet cover made it look dirty, fan in bathroom noisy and inefficient. Soap dispensers in shower not labelled so didn't know which was shampoo or shower gel. Loose rug on floor a trip hazard. Breakfast very ordinary. Staff helpful.

Room was old, stained carpet,so so comfortable bed. Had to carry suitcases upstairs to the bedroom. Unkept outside. Would not recomend

Outdated bathroom with no fan, shower stall dirty and extremely slippery, no security features on room door, breakfast nook offered few healthy choices. Shuttle bus to the airport, although handy, was old, dirty and lacking a side panel.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is great. I highly recommend them for a night or two when traveling out of LGW. They also have a very reasonably priced shuttle to the airport. 15 GBP for four of us.
