Staff was just OK. Not really trying to please; but doing their job. The location was in a high-traffic area. A homeless man "lived" just outside the entrance. Breakfast was good... good spread.

Clean room

The staff and amenities were great. I would definitely recommend. I was in Porto travelling on my own and the hotel is in a great location everything‘s walking distance.

I did not have breakfast in the hotel

The hotel or Expedia failed us. I booked two rooms. One room with one bed and the other room with two beds. My confirmation print out shows that. The hotel oahd two rooms with one bed only. They said I did not reserve two beds for one room. My confirmations shows otherwise. They did not have another room available to accommodate the request. Someone messed up and we had a big problem with that.

Good location

Excellent reception staff, clean room and convenient location.

Pros: the staff were very friendly, thanks for the early check in, room was very clean and very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, love the supermarket downstairs, good location walkable to many attractions, elevator worked well. CONS: No cool air conditioning, when I turned on the air con it was just a fan causing the room to smell of cigarettes, my guess was the air intake was near a smoking area, there were homeless and sketchy looking guys hanging near the entrance.

The room was tidy and clean, although small. Despite what appeared at breakfast to be a full hotel, I heard no sounds from any adjoining rooms.

We asked twice about blankets. Staff never informed us about why we did not get it. We asked and was told that there are too many occupants. Breakfast was very limited. The only bright spot was cleaning staff.

Rooms were disappointingly small and equipment was dated, faulty or empty Hairdryer was kept together by a bit of black tape, no bulbs in some light fitting.

The staff were good but when we needed something and reception staff were detained dealing with a large group checking in, we had to ask the staff working the bar to call us a taxi because there was only one staff working reception. The rooms for 2 people are quite small but very clean. The mattress was a thinner mattress on top of another mattress. The top mattress often shifted in the night. On occassion, we almost landed on the floor. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of options. ! The location is great. It is within walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants. There is a grocery store next door which is convenient.

Location was fine and rooms are clean, be it tiny. Had a car, so had to do a lap in peak traffic as no free temp parks out front and then parked illegally just to check in. Parking next door is subsided but still an unexpected cost, and parks are very tight.

Good clean rooms, excellent location in middle of downtown, market downstairs. Skip the breakfast and walk to a pasteleria nearby (there are plenty and cheaper), also skip the microwave pizza no matter how hungry you are!

The air conditioning did not work. It was hot in the room.

Nice and adequate breakfast buffet with pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, meat and way more. The room was clean and roomy. We booked for 2 twin beds but we received one of them as a child bed which was not only too thin for an adult but even for a child would have been dangerous with a side board covering over 1/3 of the bed over the head. So one of us had to sleep on the floor and that's not what we paid $200 per night for. Disappointed. They should have mentioned on their page the situation of the bed or called it child bed. Location was alright, a bit of walk to most areas to see.

Superb location as walking distance to many sights, restaurants and transportation. Also, supermarket in lower floor. Staff very competent and helpful. Had to request change of room due to excessive humidity. Excellent breakfast with variety of food. Recommend the hotel.
