Overall property needs some TLC (paint, hallways, no wifi, bathroom amenities)

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Easily walkable to train station, restaurants, interesting areas of Caen. We stayed there to visit Juno beach on the Normandy coast. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars was the lady behind the front desk barely glanced up at us when we came and went, couldn’t be less interested in us. When we checked out early, she couldn’t store our luggage because she was full, so we had to drag our bags around for 4 hours waiting for the train. It was very disappointing.

Excellent hôtel in a really lovely part of Caen near the Chateau. The rooms were clean and modern and the beds were really comfy. I would definitely come back again. Things to improve would be water available in the room and a shaver socket - neither of which were provided.

Just average really. Tiny pillows and sound insulaiton is pretty poor. Otherwise OK.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The reception staff was kind, and helpful. There was no AC in our room, but we were only there for one night. The windows opened, but it was noisy. Excellent buffet breakfast worth the additional cost. The one oddity was that the elevator didn’t bring you to the floors. You still had to go up or down stairs after arriving at the desired floor—not great for guests with mobility issues.

Great place

Walls were very thin, so you could hear noise from every guest on the floor. Bathroom could have used better cleaning. Be aware that the elevator is very small and doesn't go level to all floors, so if you have a lot of bags, you will need to work around this. Good value for the money, beautiful city.

Liked a lot for location and cleanliness

This place feels like a very cheap hotel. The elevator was out of service, the pillows were an odd shape and when we asked for another pillow we were told there were none. The parking was complicated, at best. The beds were uncomfortable. The pictures on this site are misleading. But the location is great!

A clean, moderately-priced hotel very close to public transportation and well-located for walking in the historic centre. Our only complaints are the elevator was out of order and the bathroom was very small, making it problematic for tall people to use the toilet.

The stay was comfortable and centrally located in an area with many restaurants and bars. We found it interesting that on a Saturday night at 7:00 pm it was difficult to find dinner as most places were serving drinks only at that time.

Rooms and bathrooms are very compact but very modern and clean … I would definitely stay there again

Booked a "triple" room as we had our son along on this trip. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Having the option for us all to stay together rather than having to book an additional room was great. The room was just right for the three of us.

Quiet, clean close to everything you could need. Excellent service, staff were amazing!! Rooms are small but well thought out. 100% recommend and will go back!

Good central location, great breakfast at an additional price, clean and convenient. Lots of stuff within walking distance.
