First time in an adult only hotel and it was blissful, no kids running around,no noisy families,just peace and quiet. The staff were amazing, helpful and cheerful, not one grumpy person, the hotel should be proud. The rooms were lovely with amazing views across the harbour. We were half board , breakfast was fresh with lots of choice, dinner was good too , probably gone a bit more with the freshly cooked options. The bus stop was a ten minute walk away with a regular service to Mahon and beyond. A few supermarkets close too.

Nothing around the property to residential - walking everywhere - even to a market

Visited during Easter break 2026 and the hotel was superb. It was so peaceful! We stayed in the panoramic sea view room and the views of the port were so lovely.. you can just watch the world go by. The hotel arranged a nice bottle of cava and something sweet for our room, as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, note there was no additional cost to us for this. The breakfast and dinner was really good. The spa wellness was good, but quite small so you need to book. The best feature being the Sauna. Please note the pools are not heated so I found them too cold but my husband enjoyed them. I loved the fact they had a refillable water station on floor 2, this saved cost for water. The hotel is in a great location for you to explore Castell and a 35 minute walk to Mahon. Transportation is good. A special shout out to the hotel staff as they had exceptional customer service, friendly and super helpful. The house keeping staff cleaned the rooms to the highest standards which made the stay even better. It would be great if there were more evenings with entertainment, however the 2 events we attended were joyful and you could listen or dance a long to the singing or live instruments. We will definitely come back!!!

Fantastic hotel in a convenient location to walk down to the harbour. Lovely views and great facilities. Really enjoyed our stay!

The location is fantastic overlooking the sea with ships and boats of all sizes heading into the harbour. The short journey to and from Mahon is easy and inexpensive. The Staff are all very welcoming, friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent with a variety of choices everyday cooked fresh with something for everyone. We’ve been several times before and certainly will be back, thank you.

Clean friendly peaceful fabulous staff

The hotel is situated in a residential area so you are not overwhelmed by loads of tourists and really get a feel for local culture. Es Castell is within walking distance of Mahón but there is also a very good bus service to Mahón and Ciutadella.

Staff were friendly! Rooms were lovely Not enough sun beds! Towels on them in a morning to save, even though it has a notice actually on them saying not to do this!!!! Seems to have quite a few elderly people that have been coming for many years

Highly reccommend this hotel. Lovely position, nice staff, clean rooms and fairly laid back. It is very OAP (Which we are just). I would say though that for the star rating, the breakfast was average and the rooms were great but not the most luxurious we have been to for the rating? All in all no complaints at all - would go back for sure

Miguel was very friendly upon arrival and all the staff were very helpful. My room was comfortable and clean and the facilities in the hotel are great. Location is perfect for somewhere quiet but close to the city. As a solo traveller I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

So chilled and relaxing. A real holiday and slow pace. Amazing food and staff. Highly recommend and will definitely be back
