**The People Are What Make This Hotel Five-Star** I have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world. While this hotel delivered on everything you expect from luxury—beautiful rooms, excellent amenities, and attention to detail—the true difference was the exceptional service. Azmir, the doorman, welcomed us with the same genuine smile every day during our five-night stay. His warmth and professionalism, even standing at the entrance all day in the Florence summer heat, truly stood out. For international travelers, the WhatsApp support was a wonderful touch. Antonietta and Nadine from Guest Relations responded quickly and made communication effortless. Angelica and Nirvan from the front desk also provided incredible support during my lost luggage situation. The true test came after we checked out. One of our pieces of luggage was lost by the carrier and arrived at the hotel after we had already left Italy. Although we were no longer guests, the team kept our luggage safe, sent updates and photos, followed my instructions, and coordinated the shipment back to our home in the United States. Special thanks to Erika and Antonello for arranging the shipping label, DHL pickup, and keeping me updated until it was collected. I often saw the phrase “We remain at your disposal” in their emails, and this hotel truly meant it. Thank you to the entire team for showing us what exceptional hospitality truly means.

Staff was very helpful with a lost item on the train, they were all fabulous, Antoniella called the train department and answered emails that were in Italian for me to get my lost bag . Breakfast buffet very good, location fabulous.

The room I got was kind claustrophobic , clean. The breakfast I would recommend getting somewhere else, my coffee was cold, I order pancakes and never got delivered to me. I just went out to a restaurant and got a fresh warm cappuccino. Overall i won’t stay at the property or brand again.

Absolutely lovely and charming hotel! It’s in a great location. Excellent food and drinks. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. The room was a lot bigger than expected. Walking distance from the train station and the center. I would recommend it!

Beautifully appointed hotel that is centrally located to all of the main sites like El Duomo, the Uffizi, The Accademia , Ponte Vecchio , Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore , Leonardo Da Vinci museum and more as well as steps away from some amazing shopping and restaurants. We walked everywhere. We only took taxi to and from the train station only because we had a extra luggage. The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and service impeccable. We found everyone we came in contact with to be extremely helpful. They were amazing! We highly recommend purchasing the breakfast option as we found it very convenient and honestly the food options was varied and delicious. We LOVED it here and will definitely be back.

Very courteous staff and spacious room!!

The hotel has done a renovation. The lobby, and public areas still had the old world Italian charm and ambience that would be expected. However, the room redesign lost all charm. Once stepping into the room, I could have easily been at any Marriott or Hilton. Disappointed on that level. Staff were professional, helpful and accommodating. Did have an issue with tickets purchased via the concierge. Guide never showed, tickets were not valid and had to buy additional tickets. Still hoping for a resolution. As this was the 4th stay, and having experienced the redesign of the rooms, the next visit to Florence may warrant consideration of another hotel.
