Excellent staff and experiences! We had a wonderful time.

What an incredible stay at Il Falconiere! Exceptional service and unforgettable experiences — from Silvia Baracchi’s amazing cooking class to an unbelievable dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant. Breakfast in the glass room overlooking the Tuscan hills was pure magic. We loved wandering through Cortona — charming streets, fantastic restaurants, and surprisingly great shopping. Already dreaming of our next visit!

Very nice and serene

The propriety is one of the nicest I’ve stayed at. Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable large pool area. Breakfast and lunch options are delicious. Room was very comfortable and spacious. The only problem I experienced was both adjacent rooms were smokers and did so on their patios. We couldn’t enjoy our patio or leave our do open while they were doing so. The property has a health spa and other wellbeing activities, but allows smoking on the property. I would consider this next time.

Perfect stay! Couldn’t recommend more highly

Ac didn’t work in the room. Charged me wrong rate at checkout took me half hour of arguing to fix it. Doors to bathroom in room wouldn’t close. Grounds nothing special. Really disappointed.

Very pretty property and amenities

The hotel itself was in excellent condition — clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The service stood out as exceptional: staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant and opted for the Tuscan tasting menu. While the presentation was elegant and the ingredients clearly fresh, the overall experience felt underwhelming. The dishes lacked the complexity, depth, or wow factor one might expect from a Michelin-level experience. Flavors were mild and not particularly memorable — it felt more like a standard fine-dining meal than a standout culinary experience. Service in the restaurant remained attentive and professional, but the food didn’t quite live up to the reputation.

The property was lovely. We spent time each day in their spa watching the view. The pools are great too. Sadly, it was still a bit cold to use them.

Absolutely magical stay! The grounds and landscape are beautiful. The restaurant was incredible. The ease of access to explore Cortona was great. Incredible service. I can’t wait to come back! My only regret was not staying longer.

Absolutely fabulous stay! We came as a family of 4 with our 2 college students. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the staff went above and beyond. We mentioned that we wanted a wine tasting and they made that happen the next day (a Saturday). The food at breakfast was wonderful. Parking was easy. The pool was the greatest end to a day. Dinner at Cortona twice while we were there was fun! We will definitely be back!

Stunning property with an amazing restaurant.

Great place!

This is a Relais et Château location and the quality of the accommodation (awesome room) coupled to a dining experience in their Michelin starred restaurant were exceptionally excellent. Nice and creative menus, lovely wines and very professional staff.

It is spectacular. The accommodations are wonderful and the dining room phenomenal. We ate there 2 nights in a row.

Incredible hotel. Property and grounds are beautiful and perfectly Tuscan. Take the cooking class!
