The reception staff were excellent and welcoming. However, the room was let down by an old carpet that smelled damp, dusty, and stuffy, making the environment feel unpleasant. There was also a lack of consideration for noise, as other residents played loud music and talked throughout the night, and the sound carried easily through the walls, making it difficult to sleep. With new carpets and better management of noise from other service users, this could be a much better place to stay.

The hotel had everything needed for a short stay but would have struggled if staying longer in the summer due to lack of fridges or aircon in the rooms.

It is a lovely place. Not far away from Bournemouth Pier. The swimming pool is amazing but I would not call a gaming room a gaming room. If you stay with a young age child I would suggest to ask for a room a bit further from the hotels bar due to cigarettes smoke and noise we had to keep our windows closed.

The breakfast is very expensive; for the same price, you can get an all-you-can-eat buffet at nearby hotels. There is no air conditioning or fans. There is excessive noise early in the morning from the hotel's buses—it feels like staying at a bus terminal—and shouting from drunk people late into the night. The towels are very old and worn out, the bathroom is extremely cramped, and the beds are old and uncomfortable, with some wires sticking out (fortunately, from the side).

Nice Hotel - just away from the main centre of Bournemouth - 15 minute walk to the pier. Had a nice room with a very comfortable bed and very good en-suite shower. The room was not in the main building but one of the satellite buildings behind it. Would definitely recommend and would return to - when looking for budget friendly acommadation in Bournemouth.

Nice little pool that was great in the recent heat . Room itself was very very small . The bathroom was old , dated with limited water pressure . The doors are opened with old style locks that can be very difficult to get open and closed at times and didn’t feel very secure as a female traveller. Expensive for what it is

I've stayed 4 times at Laguna Hotel. This room was not the best and the most expensive (but its July.) Single rm. The room was very dusty especially the carpets, They need to invest in better PILLOWS. The side panel to Bath loose. Shower head OK. I visit Bournemouth regularly as my son at Uni.

The room was clean and well maintained with the staff being very friendly and breakfast being delicious with the pool and jacuzzi being so relaxing and chilling. The only minus would be that the rooms have no AC so be prepared to bring your own cooling fan.

Very helpful staff. Nice to have a hotel with a pool although didnt have time to use it unfortunately. Bed was very soft which some may not mind but we found the mattress uncomfortable and very hot in the room so hardly any sleep. Other than that it was all good for a short stay and friendly staff.
