It was such an amazing experience and place. Near the beach, super walkable, right across from a gas station which is great if you’re renting. And the place absolutely beautiful breakfast was delicious! And Maria was amazing! The room was super clean beautiful! I am definitely coming back!

This was the perfect place to stay in Agios Prokopios. Owner (Maria) was so welcoming and we absolutely loved it here. Will definitely visit again. 3 minute walk to the beach.

We are a family of 4 that stayed in an apartment with plenty of room. Room was renovated and spacious with a balcony that fit a table and 4 chairs and a clothesline. Beautiful large pool with plenty of sunbeds and delicious breakfast. The owners Maria and her son treated us like family. We strongly recommend this hotel. We are sure to return in the future. Just a 5 minute walk to the most stunning beach. Supermarket and shops just minutes away on foot and the bus stops out front. We loved our stay here and were sad to leave. We will be back!!

Magical !!! What a wonderful property! Picture this, A Mini Garden of Eden, filled with fruit and olive trees and manicured lawns, just steps from the beach. Yet it’s close enough to town you can walk. It’s run and family owned, and they make you feel welcomed and at home, while at the same time giving you privacy. Thank you, Maria, Christopher & Sofia.

This is a lovely family run hotel and the staff are all bery helpful. The pool area is lovely and it is walking distance (2 mins)to the beach/ amenities. The rooms are a good size. They catered for gluten free breakfast. The downside is that the accommodation/ reception/ bar are all very dated and would benefit from a renovation. If it was more modern, we would have spent time/ money for food/ drinks for lunch/ evening. We would definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

The place is amazing. Extremely well located as well - 3 mins walk from the beach. It is a family run place and they all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable - whether it was arranging was taxis, offering late breakfast, late checkout - very considerate and extremely friendly. They have a really nice pool and pool beds as well. Location is great - close to the beach and amazing restaurants as well. I will come back and stay here if I come back to Naxos!

The family who run the Hotel Maria & Sophia were all warm & very helpful. They accommodated us for an extra night when our Ferry got cancelled. The beds were to hard. But overall location was great, walking distance to everything. But definitely need to update the bathroom.

The owners were incredibly hospitable. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with fresh watermelon from their garden! We loved our perfect studio, clean accomodations, very nice pool and above all the kindness of our hosts. We will definitely be back and will stay in Birikos for sure! Highly recommended!

Great accomodation- very friendly family who run the business. Pool is great as is the location with regards to restaurants and beaches.

Lovely people, so helpful, very clean rooms, close to tavernas (we recommend Gianioullis), shops. pharmacy, great beaches, arts centre with open air cinema! Chora and all other bus stops 2 euros. Maria, Christoph and everyone else just so great.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had to on this one... Booked this apartment resort last week of July 2018 for 6 nights 7 days... To start..... the people were nice.... But the bathroom was horrible... the shower is so small the water was splashing all over the bathroom on the toilet and to make things worse the bathroom was getting flooded and we had to use towels to suck the water from the floor.. I asked the manager to put a bathroom curtain and the new curtain was installed and hanged outside the shower and it was about a foot short from the floor... doesn’t make sense why they installed something that will not help. The other issues were mold in the bathroom window and tiles and a foul urine odor coming from around the toilet..... The kids bed the paint was chipped.. I asked the people who had rented next door and they told me that had the same issue... Don’t let the photos fool you... they have more photos of the outside than the inside of the rooms.... This place looks nice from the outside but the inside is dated..... I also asked if we can change rooms and the manager said that this is what they have and ALL the rooms have the same bathrooms.. I have never experience anything like this in my life.... DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Great location, view and service and very spacious room

This is our third time staying at Birikos. Wouldn't have stayed there if not for Birikos and the whole family that runs it. Maria, Sophia, Dimitri,Yannis.... Thank you so much for having us again and again. The property is super well maintained, the grounds are perfect, the pool is big and niice and the location.... WONDERFUL!!! 5 minutes walk to Agios Prokopios beach and the bus to go to town is right in front of the property. Can't go wrong with this place!

We loved Naxos - dramatic countryside, gorgeous weather in June/July; something for everyone. The place Agios Prokopious is just 2 km outside Naxos Town, and we had a car which meant that we could explore stuff like the giant kouros statues abandoned in quarries; but there is a bus which stops outside Birikos Studios and Apartments which was well used. The place is basically self catering which we hadn't realised from the website, but they clean the room with fresh sheets every two days. There is a local supermarket very close and a walk down the hill (5 minutes) to the sea front, with lots of choice of restaurants and great Greek food. We arrived a day late after we were supposed to, because of the ferry from Crete being cancelled, and they did not charge us for the night we missed, although we had given less than 24 hours notice. The people were lovely; there is a beautiful large pool; only open from 9am to 8pm in the evening though; and you want to be able to swim before it gets too hot. It was great value too.

We were welcomed by the owner Maria and her husband with breakfast and a smile. The room she provided had a balcony with a view of the beach. The sunsets from the balcony were beautiful. There was a pool and Maria was so helpful in providing information, organising a taxi and always with a smile. The room was clean and the grounds are very pretty. We had breakfast there one day which was very good (with fresh fruit provided also) and we had a Greek salad the evening we were leaving and it was amazing. My husband and I came for a week long break and we had such a wonderful time. The rooms have air conditioning (and we were in an "economy room". We would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel a quick walk to the beautiful beach of Agios Prokopios! The family that runs the hotel is so welcoming and kind. Our room had a cute porch, and was very clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful, lovely pool with lounge chairs. The bus stop was also right in front of the hotel, so very easy to get back to the port. Definitely recommend for a beach trip to Naxos!
