Clean room, nice staff

The hotel is located in a very convenient area: At the heart of the city and very near the train station. It still remains quiet for such a location. The rooms are small yet well designed, clean and modern. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Nice breakfast as well. In summary, a great discovery and quality for value.

The stay in the hotel, which is centrally located, was very good overall. The breakfast had something for everyone.

Overall good

Simple and cheap hotel stay for one night while visiting the Christmas markets in Bielefeld. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and had everything I needed. Location is a short walk from the train station and very close to shops and restaurants. Due to its central location, it is a little noisy if overlooking the street, but earplugs help with that.

The location is great, close to everywhere including the central train station. Lots of dining and shopping around. Friendly staff. Small but clean and convenient rooms. It was a bit noisy when you open the window.

Rooms and commonly used areas are all neat and very clean the rooms are convenient the location is excellent just few minutes walk from station and right at the middle of the city center. The staff is warm, nice, helpful and welcoming. One drawback is that there is no air conditioning it was early summer when we were there but in late July and August the rooms might be a little hot. There is no night staff so if you arrive there late at night you need to notify the hotel beforehand not to be stranded at the door. Or if something urgent happens late at night you need to know that there is no night staff at the reception.

Central, easy to reach from train

We stayed at Comfort Garni whilst visiting Bielefeld for a weekend, We found the hotel to have a great central location to Bielefeld, 3 minutes walk away from the train station. It was very quiet, no noise whatsoever, comfortable and tidy. No drinks facilities in the room, but we stocked up in Aldi down the road, and ate out, so no problem for us. Beds comfortable, if a little soft, bathroom clean and tidy, shower worked a treat. English speaking too, if needed. Would stay there again if ever in that neck of the woods!

Central location, 5 minute walk to the station. Room was spacious and very clean. Decor slightly dated but comfortable enough. Would use again, didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment.

Very convenient for the station but also a short walk to the old town. If you have the window open it can be noisy but shut it and it is very quiet. Breakfast is a good selection.

We were initially surprised to find this hotel is IN the actual outdoor mall and had our reservations at first but the location turned out to be perfect. Walking distance to the main train station, and tons of food and shopping area within a very short walk. Terrific ice cream place right outside the front door! The view from our window was bad but we never care about that stuff anyway. I would stay there again and maybe next time enjoy the breakfast too since we did not try that this visit.

Hotel very well positioned, near the train station and in the town. Service was very good, room clean etc. However room was dated, wood chip wall paper, noisy bathroom fan, etc. Efforts have been made to update it with a new bed. The rooms really need an update.

Good value for a downtown location basic clean room excellent breakfast very friendly staff

Nice room, nice staff, good breakfast. The only downside was the very tight parking garage which we also struggled to find, but it was a reasonable price to park.

The rooms were quite small but very clean. The location is excellent. Very close to downtown and main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Although it is facing the main street, the room was not noisy (I was staying on the 4th, last, floor so that might be a part of the reason). The only thing that I did not like was the lack of sport channels on TV so I could not watch some of the great BundesLiga games of that matchday. In summary, great deal in terms of price and what is being offered.

Hard to beat for the price. Negatives: TVs are small and no AC (it was hot outside when we were there). Positives: Location - on pedestrian way, v. near train station, restaurants, shopping, etc. Staff: Friendly Price: Can't be beat for location, and rated this highly. It's nt a luxury property but for sleeping and location it's excellent.

Great basic hotel - 24hr reception, close to the trains station and old town, strong Wifi. Arrived late night and left early morning. Of course one needs to consider that it's a basic hotel (small room / small shower etc.) but it served the purpose. Reception was friendly and efficient. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but I got a bottle of water at checkout which I thought was rather nice (saved me from buying one first thing in the morning for the day out and about).

Very helpful front desk. Car parking on site, much cheaper than nearby carpark. Excellent advise on where to eat. Good breakfast
