Hotel is old but location is fantastic

Cleanliness was excellent, Staff were excellent Pool is outdated and requires maintenance and €10 deposit for a pool towel is a joke, especially for live in guests who weren’t allowed to use their bathroom towel. Position is excellent and that’s why I always try and stay there

Place needs a total renovation, the pics are not accurate to the actual state / date. It is overpriced for what they offer.

The beds are like sleeping on plywood boxes. HARD! The blankets were visibly dirty. The water damage to the bathroom door was unsightly but not surprising since there is no shower curtain. You must be very strong to fully turn on and off the shower knobs, and be sure to turn off hot water first or risk severely burning yourself! They charge extra to use the pool which is new for me and dissuaded us from even visiting it. It said 4-Star hotel. I would be generous to give it 2 stars.

Old room need renovation

I booked this for a one night for a layover in Athens as you in Expedia rated it 4 stars and the hotel said was fully renovated. The photos of the room I selected did not correspond to what they assigned me. When I made this booking you said there were 4 rooms available of this category a few hours later I arrived and they said they did not have any rooms besides that. As a Platinum member I would not expect such a big discrepancy in the photos of the room I am selecting. All wooden furnitures were peeled and distressed. The bathroom fixtures and soap holder in the sink broken. There is literally no space to put a toiletry bag. The dispensers in the shower were empty. I would suggest you as a BIG and Trusted agency, do a site inspection of the hotel and most of the rooms. This is mainly one of the reasons I am not booking hotels on my personal travels with Expedia. Because the few times I have booked lower priced hotels than what I am used to booking this is always the outcome, you need to ensure your Platinum members are assigned the room they have selected accordingly to the pictures you present.

The hotel needs updating, but is close to everything which is a plus! Very walkable! However, I feel like it has a staff that is inattentive and dismissive, neglectful. Thing was I needed to book one more night. The staff said it was booked and there was nothing available. I went on Expedia and found a room. Next, we reported somebody went through our bags that were locked and zipped. They went through my daughter’s Chanel items, and then put that bag away in my bag very obvious that it was looked through. They had so many excuses for why that happened like magic- flying monkeys ,etc. but nobody apologized. Nothing was taken that I know of but it felt weird.

The stay was ok. We had a room with 4 twin beds for 4 adults the 2 mattresses were comfortable but the other two were very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs from the mattress. The staff tried to accommodate us by changing the room but all the extra mattresses in all the rooms were the same. Also they didn’t not have irons in the rooms you have to pay for that service if you need it and there was no shampoo in the shower, it was a water down version of something. This was ok if you just need a place to sleep. Also, the outdoor pool is open to the public so you may not be able to use that amenity unless you get down there early in the morning! Overall I would give this place a 3 star!

We had dinner at the restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. It was great!

This is a last resort choice, if you must be in the area. The older (and cheaper) rooms are dated BUT issues were found both in the older ones and the renovated ones during our stay. Management prefers to give excuses, delay addressing issues and generally make the experience poor, along with some of the staff that are dismissive. Other staff were very helpful and responsive but it seems limited in what they can achieve as far as service. There are real issues to pay attention too, e.g. the balcony door was not locked on one side when we entered, which made the door roll open about 3 cm, so bugs were coming in. Also, I got pricked by a needle that was mysteriously attached to the curtain when I tried pulling it! It seemed to be there ever since the seamstress had hemmed it. That's insane level of negligence and a safety issue. Drains smell even in the updated rooms, individual twin beds pulled together, there is only one pool, not 3 as advertised, medium size and all the sun loungers were taken as soon as it opened. Wouldn't stay here for this price

Excellent front desk staff

We paid over, I'm not allowed to say, but way too many euros to stay here for one week, room only, absolute joke. How they think this is a four star hotel is scandalous. We were here for a wedding, and other guests were also staying. Some had same room cheaper, with breakfast included, a lady was on her own and charged over, once again not allowed to say, but way too many euros, and her room was a disgrace, a bathroom you wouldn't see in a 1 star, never mind 4, room was also tiny. The hallways need decorating. False advertising, by saying 3 pools, ONLY 1, joke. Two good things, the staff, and rooms cleaned daily, end of

We had an excellent stay at this property. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a truly pleasant experience. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — a perfect start to each day. We would definitely stay here again, and whenever we are in Glyfada, Greece, this will be our go-to hotel.

I wish we told before booking that pool is closed

Looks great in pictures. But in person, the room had old features, air conditioning hardly worked, blow dryer from 1960s with not a lot of power. Paint peeling on trim around bathroom door. Lobby furniture fabric fraying.

It was exactly what I needed for one person one night!
