Quaint hotel that has been updated. Staff very helpful. You should know one uses staors to go to ypir room.Nice shower, comfortable bed. I love that the window opened.

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful in answering questions. Room was clean. Nice area to walk around the town. Close to bus and train transportation.

Small room (single bed), a lot og noice from the street during the night.

Travelled with kid for fotball cup. Hotel is a bit old, the bathroom is very "retro". But, Nice and clean (big) room and bathroom, short walking distance to shops and food. Breakfast was good too.

I prefer this hotel when in Honefoss as it is downtown, much quieter than the.Scandic and the staff is always friendly and very helpful! There are no elevators so if you have mobility issues ask for a room on the ground floor.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Honefoss centrum.

Upon entering the Grand Hotel, we were transported back into the 1800's. The large sitting rooms make one feel like guests of an old upper class Norwegian family. To top it off, the breakfast was an authentic Norwegian smorgasbord.

I thought the hotel was in an excellent location and close to everything in Honefoss. But, I have to comment about the noise and bar downstairs...It is very loud at nights and on weekends. There is an excessive noise and cigarette smoke from the bar that makes it very difficult to sleep.

This hotel was established in 1809 and is a quaint well kept hotel with a beautiful dining area for the free continental breakfast. The room was comfortable with a nice bed. The hotel is in an area that closes down early at night and the reception area is closed after 10 PM. We arrived after 10, but the owner/manager waited for us and was very gracious and helpful. If we ever get back to Norway we will definitely stay there again.

Sjarmeende med sjel. Kommer sikkert tilbake. Fint med parkering i bakhården. Pass på at parkering må betales på automat
