Easy check-in, spacious room, 10 minutes on foot from the train station and centre of town, this hotel is excellent value.

The bedroom was clean and spacious Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice Staff lovely and friendly An added bonus was a fridge in the room The area was difficult to get to with all roadworks around that area It was very easy to get to the town centre by foot, an excellent location Did not feel very safe walking around especially at night time around that area

The Cambridge is a gem, so glad I found it. Location is very central for station and civic amenities and walking distance from proper pubs! It's in an older, quieter part of town so there is lots to see and decent places to eat. The rooms are just as good as Premier Inn (where I usually stay when in Huddersfield) and half the price. Parking underneath the hotel is fab and access will be much improved when the road works are finished.

Arrived early and were given a room which was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the surrounding area quiet.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was okay. The sausages not so great and the bacon wasn’t proper bacon but was edible

Best cookie dough ever and really well priced. Room was clean and reception were good. Strange to see security working on a Monday and Tuesday and equally strange the restaurant was not open and had to be room service otherwise I would have given 5 stars

It was a clean, warm and quiet hotel, breakfast was ok, easy parking and most importantly close to the site I was working at for 2 days. if I am at that site again I will probably book.

Stayed a few times here and the price is good. The rooms are big. They have fridges.They've always been clean. The rooms are a little dated and old but everything worked other than the lockable safe in my room

Easy check in, clean room, the first hotel pillow in ages that’s actually the right height on its own (always find 1 pillow not enough, 2 too much, but here 1 was perfect). Shower was excellent, powerful and hot. It’s a bit dated, but superb value for money.

Had stayed here before a couple of years ago and it was fine. Unfortunately, we booked another hotel for most recent stay in Huddersfield which closed down so we were transferred here. Issues with plumbing meant we were awoken both mornings at 5am by a loud high pitched noise, which we reported twice. Hotel also appears to be used as temporary accommodation for council; this resulted in a strong smell of cannabis outside the doors of the property and small group of residents hanging about outside drinking and smoking on the stairs. Manager did offer a free breakfast but we were on way out with our bags by that time. Such a shame

Excellent stay, the room was comfortable, clean and a short walk to the town centre. Great value for money.

Great hotel, worth the money

Nice hotel. Very convenient for the bus and train facilities. Very helpful staff. Minor issue with the shower in the room not draining away efficiently.
