Highly recommend a stay at Brownsover Hall. The building is beautiful and the decor is amazing. Very clean. The grounds are beautiful and lovely to walk around. The staff are very smart, happy, and welcoming. Chloe on reception was very helpful and chatty; she clearly loves her job. We are planning another visit soon. Thank you, Tony and Vicky, we stayed for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Lovely hotel, sympathetically restored.Experience let down by thick polyester duvet and cover, unpleasant and difficult to sleep in hot weather. For this reason would not stay again.

The bedroom was furnished to a very high standard as was the interior of this beautiful historic building. The staff were friendly and the garden is beautiful. It was a very nice English experience in a pretty part of the world.

Just an amazing hotel everything was perfect

Very nice hotel and room. Great decor. Evening meal was ok, nothing special. Breakfast was slow, staff were struggling to cope. Do not park under the big tree at the entrance. Birds overhead!

A stunning Victorian building set in 7 acres of delightful parkland, including access to a canal towpath. The downstairs rooms are splendid with original wall coverings and plenty of spaces in which to relax. We can highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staff were very helpful. In short, we will come again!

I stayed here for 2 nights while having some work done on my house. Lovely room and very comfortable bed.

Fabulous in all repects! A beautifully recently refurbished gorgeous property with decor to wow. The food is absolutely delicious and presented with flare. All the staff I encountered were professional, very obliging, happy to help and chat (if possible) and all were working really hard with smiles on their faces. They all seemed to be proud of the hotel and their friendliness and helpfulness shone through. The grounds are beautiful, great location, peaceful and the first wedding of the year was underway. A really impressive establishment.

Great place and staff

Really nicely refurbished hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although they sometimes seemed a little inexperienced. Our room was comfortable, but it felt slightly cramped as it was quite full of furniture, which meant there wasn’t much space for our luggage. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but I think the staff’s experience and confidence need a little time to catch up with the high-end image the hotel is aiming to project.
