The property is breathtaking! Absolutely beautiful. Staff was kind. The lodge was stayed in was comfortable and spacious. The view from the balcony was stunning. Wish there was one more restaurant in the property. There are times when the only restaurant does not offer food service so plan your tours etc accordingly. The restaurant functions on island time so pack your patience. The listing on Expedia says private pool for the lodge but it is actually shared between 10 lodges. Overall a great stay !

We had jungle villa 3 which had been renovated and updated recently. Also came with a plunge pool. It’s a beautiful property and you get to experience all noises of the jungle. We saw red frogs (3) and a sloth and monkeys. We stayed 2 nights and felt good about that as the restaurants were limited and we could count ok in our villa but didn’t feel like it. I would definitely recommend for those looking to get away from crowds and experience nature in a very comfortable setting.

Our villa was great. So peaceful with beautiful views and a lovely pool. The location of the property was amazing and Polo beach nearby was great to spend the day at when the waves were too big at Red Frog. The store had decent options although more fruit options would have been nice. It was nice to be able to get rides around when needed. Downsides were the restaurant.. the food wasn't great and service was very slow. We wished we had eaten more at Palmar lodge next door as it was great. The other downside was the tour that we booked through the front desk to see Zapatilla. I messaged to confirm in the morning and it was pretty apparent that they had forgotten to book something and scrambled to find another boat and driver at the last minute. We were told the day would include snacks and fruit and drinks and all we were provided was two small warm bottles of water. We also stopped at a place for lunch that took well over an hour and while we were sitting there, our driver left with the boat and all of our belongings without telling us where he was going. The beach was beautiful but the snorkeling was mediocre and overall not worth the money. We still tipped our driver after and then were not pleased to see at checkout that they had added a large service fee onto the booking without telling us. Overall a beautiful location and property but needs some work on communication and food.

Our condo was outstanding. Perfect for us. It is a beautiful place to take a vacation. Gorgeous property. We saw sloths, monkeys, tropical birds and a red frog. Chef Saul in La Rosa accommodated our changes with a smile. When I made soup and discovered there were no bowls of any kind, I messaged Estefani at the front desk and not ten minutes later there was a knock on our door by a gentleman with bowls. Alonso a golf cart driver and staff member helped me along with my Spanish and made me feel special. They didn’t get all five stars because there was no furniture on the balcony at all as the photos showed. The kitchen could use a few more supplies like a pancake or egg flipper etc. also the dryer did not work. When we called for a ride on the golf cart front desk says “he’s on his way”. We ran outside to sweat for half an hour before going back in. After calling twice more, they finally got us over an hour and a half later. They do need to tell us up front they’re busy and it would have been fine. You can tell everyone is trying hard to make it an outstanding experience. Carlos took excellent care of us as well. Our neighbors Omar and Dean were the ones who made sure we had an incredible experience. I would absolutely go back. Most expensive place we stayed in Panama. I recommend renting a golf cart even though they’re really expensive too.

Staff were great, Oliver took extra care of us and issues that arose. Great location, pool and beach were great. Using their shuttle to get around was helpful as the staff would point out sloths or red frogs and share information.

Resort was amazing and loved the condo and staff. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. Only recommendations were better deck furniture, there was only two plastic chairs. And my brother and I are vegetarians, the meal options to eat out were very limited. Other than that, we lived and would certainly recommend and return!

First I need to clarify: Don't book the jungle lodges if you expect premium rooms. We made that mistake misled by the nice photos of the rooms. For a similar price choose the Lodges or Villas. We were so disappointed but the fantastic staff kindly moved us to a condo with views to the Ocean and gardens. That transformed our experience to a very pleasent nature fusion experience with 4* commodities. The resort is kind of in a transition phase and the restaurant upgraded the menu on our last day as part of their changes, which was much appreciated. The staff was wonderful all times! From the condo we could observe many species of birds and even a sloth. Monkeys and of course the red frogs are easy to spot. Areas of improvement, some the resort isplanning to do in near future include: - more eco-friendly engagements (stop plastic) - cleaning days of beach areas as an eco and learning experience (Panama infrastructures in terms of trash management are underdeveloped) - free boat shuttle to residents for more shopping and restaurant choices around Bocas Overall we had a great time and we are grateful for the way the team listened to our comments and did their best to make our stay a wonderful one.

Staff is courteous but the Villas are not maintained to a standard that matched the price. Showered rode fell on my daughter’s head. Fixtures for towels falling off the wall. Then the pool tiles is not maintained and cut my daughter’s foot open. Now she can go on the beach or in the water for a week while it heals. No staff on hand for emergency so you are on your own.

So many reasons. Between no one answering calls on whatsapp (which is the means by which they asked us to communicate), terrible service, food lacking horribly, and no one calling through with our reservations for boat tours as well as

NO Wifi for the first 2 days, master bed had no water in the bathrooms plus a few other minor irritants. The staff were nice and polite, but very inefficient. Most requests would take forever for a response.

Red Frog Island Beach houses are very, very nice. It would be nice to have a few items in there for cooking, like salt, spices, or oil. The restaurant and service could be improved. The menu has only bar food, and the waiters are inexperienced. These suggestions being made, we did enjoy our stay.

Red frog and the staff were excellent, we loved our stay and would be happy to come back. The only reason we give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because a good amount of amenities were closed : the pool, zipline, one of the restaurants, and the market. The staff did a good job making up for these closures, they were amazing! But if you’re booked for these you may want to be aware before you arrive.

The Red Frog Resort is a beautifully located area. Although it rained for most of the time, the beach and property are amazing. We saw sloths, monkeys and of corse the red frogs throughout our stay. The staff was so nice and made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful experience in Bocas.

I felt unsafe as the locks on the Jungle Room # 8 didn't all lock and curtains were missing , no way to contact desk or staff at times....Water to take a shower was cold at all times....the curtains that were there were dirty....I adv staff to move me to different room and they promised but, never gave me a new room....The staff driving golf cart to and from reception was nice and kind ..,.Kenny and Enrique .....My TV never worked right along with the main light turned on by itself in the middle of the night, possibly an electrical issue? I would never stay there and don't recommend it

It is a true paradise. For the most part the staff was amazing and happy to help. Unfortunately, the staff Rosa beach club for dinner was very slow. We loved the Villa, but unfortunately, it does require a lot of maintenance (windows handles falling off, taps falling off, dripping faucet etc). Overall, we loved everything, and will definitely conciser coming back.
