If you are looking for a very nice place and location for a reasonable price this is it ! My wife and I have been coming to Isla Mujeres for many years. If you want a nice comfortable place on a budget Posada Del Mar is it !

Great staff perfect location

Great place with nice pool and adjacent bar, restaurant. Food at restaurant was good! And great location to both west beach and playa Norte. Short walk to Hidalgo st for many food n bevvy options. Room was clean and nice, but pigeons kept the patio dirty with crap. Daily service did clean upon request. Shower head could use some CLR soaking.

Cuándo llegamos la persona en el recepción una persona llamada Fabiola no fue nada agradable y ni las maletas no guardo en un área segura,después de esperar 2 horas nos dio una habitación que era un asco,más tarde nos cambió después del quejarnos. Al otro día entró una señora llamada Bety que fue un amor y nos ubico en otra habitación porque la que teníamos se inundaba el baño. El resto del staff muy amables.

The staff was friendly , and the location was great to shops and restaurants.

The place is a little old but the employees are great everyone is ready to help you in you need anything, is in from of the beach, 5 to 10 min walking from the ferry.

This property has an awesome location, close to the ferry, close to the shopping/nightlife area and close to beaches. Very affordable for my family who left Puerto Morales hotel early to see aqua blue beaches w/no sargassum.

The beach is just accross the hotel. Staff cleans our room daily, very friendly staff. Building is outdated and door chain lock is broken. But overall We had a great stay.

Everything was right there all restaurants, stores and the beach as well as the pool and the restaurant , bar and all compared it to the other hotels and i think its the best choice since its so close to the ferry walking distance no need for a taking after getting off the ferry and you can get a gilf cart for the day or two to visit all the island but everything is so close and the rooms are very clean and they had just upgraded the pool and the restaurant for breakfast is infront of it with delicious food and cheaper then everywhere to be honest more than the food trucks to to be honest overall my family loved it and will be coming back.

Everything was fine until the last day when there was a lot of noise at night. Also, I think the hotel should get more a swimming pool chairs since the ones they have tend to be “reserved” by people leaving their stuff on them (which should not be allowed anyway.)

Great stay to be honest

Booked this hotel with a swimming pool because two children were coming with us. Day before I was able to cancel the trip and not be fined they sent an email saying the pool was being worked on and would open back up two days after we arrived (06/26/25). Thought that would be fine we could spend the first two days on the beach and make use of the chairs and umbrella the hotel provided. First 2 days there they set up chairs but we had to wait over 2 hrs before we got an umbrella because they were busy taking care of “paying” customers coming off the ferry. Complained.., it was taken care of. The day after we arrived we were told the pool won’t be open until 07/04/25 (we left on the 5th) Then we were told the 07/16.,. I don’t think that pool was ready to open for with some time. Just wish I wasn’t lied too. I would have cancelled and booked somewhere else. I won’t make the mistake of staying here again. I’ve stayed here several times and this was the worst customer service experience I have received. The man (Eric) who cleaned my room did a great job!

I didnt have enough hot water .they really didnt clean the room good. The pool was down the whole time . They said it would be open by the 6th. And the patios need to be clean full of bird poo.
