I booked the Delux manor room (£250+) for my mum's 70th birthday but it was terrible. Coffee machine was dirty, kettle was not clean and was too small, mould around the window, mould and damp marks on the ceiling in the room and in the bathroom. Tom was accommodating on the phone prior to staying, restaurant staff were very slow serving but were friendly and James (duty manager) promised a full refund after my complaint about the mould and the fact it caused my asthma to flare up causing me to take my reliever through the night and the week after the stay.. 2 weeks later I still have had no refund and will escalate it further as selling a room in that condition is unacceptable to customers health. Photos to prove all of the above. Price does not include swimming pool use unlike other hotels. A very disappointing stay all round.

Rooms were dirty, mouldy walls, moudly curtains, previous guests make up and marks all over the headboard, a sink that took a day to drain, old tired bath that no one would ever want to relax in. Hooks hanging half out of the wall. Breakfast was poor, never seen a full English served with roast potatos and they tried to charge £2 for a coffee that isn't from a coffee press... The biggest joke here is that there were people complaining about the state of the rooms in front of us, with similar feedback so why this place decides to operate with such low standards is beyond me. The spa is so average, overcrowded and has strong leisure centre energy with low ceilings and nowhere near enough loungers. After our complaint about the room we were downgraded from a 'luxe' room and given a 'standard mews' room. The new room, whilst it didnt have a dirty headboard or mold, it still had a sink that wouldnt drain, a shower head that was old and broken (missing all the nozzles so water just poured through the holes. The room was such a weird and uncomforable space with no cupboard doors to the storage (leaving ugly fans and iron, hair dryer on show) and it didnt even have space for the stained and burnt ironing board which was therefore just left out in the room for display. Also the room had no mirror or a space to hang the towel and robes. The restaurant on site, we went to was Sage, don't waste your time. expensive, small, average potions. I dont have enough space for this part...

Amazing place the 'Eastwell Champneys Estate'. Fantastic accommodation. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly, specific James helped at the reception and Victoria at the Health Spa. Breakfast was great as it was a buffet. Nice supper and as well the bar meal with good prices. Great heated indoor and heated outdoor pool and heated outdoor with whirlpools. Will come soon again.

We had bookedcthexroom with breakfast buffet but there was no buffet it was instead a menue breakfast with limitation order. As we complained about it received free breakfast as a buffet the next day through the organisation of James at the reception.Thank you again James!

We loved the spa really nice. All the negative comments should be deleted as it’s not true that the spa is run down. They seem to have done a huge refurb and everything looks great. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing

I recently stayed at Eastwell and it truly is such a beautiful, special place. The setting is stunning and feels very peaceful overall. I stayed in one of the cottages/rooms in the stables, which was lovely, although the soundproofing wasn’t great. This isn’t something the hotel can really control, but it did impact the stay a bit. On the first morning, I was woken at 5:45am by someone locked out pressing the bell repeatedly, and on the second morning you could hear a lot of noise from neighbouring guests very early—talking, moving around, hairdryers, TV, and doors slamming before 7:30am. So i set off early on my 5hr drive home! That said, the staff were absolutely amazing and really made the experience special. We had a group gathering in one of the rooms, and the afternoon tea was lovely. Imogen, who looked after us, was wonderful—so attentive and thoughtful throughout. The cocktails were also fabulous, expertly made by the female mixologist. One small point of feedback but would mean a lot to the family would be that it would be nice to see the spelling of “Brodrick” corrected, as this is the family name that once owned the estate before it became a hotel. Overall, a beautiful place with fantastic staff, just a few things that slightly affected the stay.

Beautiful grounds and the breakfast was lovely - good quality and beautifully cooked. The staff were really lovely, accommodating and friendly. There were some very minor things that might have made the stay even better, for example, we found the temperature of the water in the spa area a little cold. We also stayed in The Mews cottages on the ground floor. The blinds were blackout which meant we had either privacy or light but couldn't have both if spending any time in the room during the day.

The room was lovely but we got woken up at 6.30am by drilling and music close by We paid for continental breakfast (£14) but on arrival there were no pastries, butter or toasts. I had to ask for it to be told that all the pastries were gone. We only got given toasts and no reduction of the breakfast was offered.

The TV didn’t work. There was hair in the bathroom. Tissue in the corner of the room. The room is not very sound proof and could hear people coming and going. Was charged £30 for a dog. Whilst appreciate this was to cover the bed, toy and food. Would be better to be given the option and a lower price as none of this was needed. Upon check in we were told it would be £15 pp to use the pool. This was not clear on the booking. For somewhere with so much emphasis on luxury we found the room to be very basic. Finally two single beds pushed together with single duvets does not make it a double. Wouldn’t recommend.
