Old carpets, smelling. Lost of dust. The place is too big for a too small staff. If you have allergies, stay away.

We loved this hotel. The location is amazing. You can walk right down to the beach. We saw deer frolicking in the morning. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had a hotel. And they were really amazing with kids. They gave my kids coloring books when we checked-in and they could do activities to get little prizes.

Very poor maintained

Et smukt hotel i rolige, afsidesliggende skovomgivelser. Det perfekte sted at koble fra og slappe af. Morgenmaden var fremragende. Tak.

This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have screens so you don't have flies/mosquitos etc. in your room and bathroom? And, since a hotel room doesn't allow for cross breeze, a simple fan would be nice. Bed was not the worst I slept on in Denmark (that award goes to the high priced hotel in Copenhagen) but still way too firm (aka like sleeping on the floor). For the price, I expected much more.

The Comwell Klarskovgaard as a hotel is in a very beautiful setting, just a short walk to the beach amid woods and open fields. But it is lacking in any storage space for clothing except for a few hangers for shirts: no hangers for pants, no drawers or shelves. This may be a modern trend in hotels, but it does not serve its guests well. Another guest arrived at a time when no one was available to greet her at reception. The hotel had sent her an email indicating the limited times available for checking in, but the email was only sent on the day of arrival. There was absolutely no staff available on the premises to provide assistance. This is unacceptable. Every hotel should have some staff available on site at all times in case of emergency.

Very remote but very nice hotel. If you love nature and simplicity in life, this is the place to be.

Lovely placed in the forest

Good hotel, nice location. Functional bathroom. room well equipped. Missing: no hangers for trousers and hand-wash without bulb. - so not very practical. Breakfast perfect.

Nice clean hotel with fabulous staff. Rooms small but adequate. The only down side is the restaurant which is limited to only one choice of starter, main and desert. Therefore if you are vegetarian you may go hungry. There is nothing around the hotel which makes dining more challenging. The hotel is geared towards conferencing hence the menu limitations. I would stay here again for one or two nights.

although when I arrived in the dark, I didn't think much of walking outside to get to the room etc, it was the unreserved helpfulness of the staff that made this a great stay.

Pænt og rent. Gammeldags og upraktisk hus med svær tilgængelighed, hvis man fx medbringer rullekuffert. Morgenmaden var tør og frugt og grønt føltes som om det var skåret dagen før. Jeg vil vælge noget mere opdateret næste gang.

Pæne og rene værelser, smilende og imødekommende personale og de smukkeste omgivelser.

Flot og veltegnet bygning - meget servicevenlige og imødekommende medarbejdere . En let renovering vil gøre meget for indtrykket, men hotellet er jo lidt som en “time capsule” - og det arkitektoniske udtryk, må ikke fjernes. Flot og rimelig menu i restauranten, morgenmaden er også rigtig

Det var noget gammelt noget. Jeg havde helt andre forventninger til et Comwell hotel. Og ingen tilgængelig wifi 😒

Søde personaler, lækre omgivelser, så lækker morgen buffet og dejlig restaurant på stedet ☺

Dryplyd på værelset hele natten! Wifi ikke tilgængelig på mit værelse. Og så en noget slatten burger i restauranten! Værelset var dog lækkert!
