Newport's position is brilliant. Just park the car and walk to cafes, restaurants, the surf club, The Esplanade - just about everything is nearby for that short stay where you don't want to be driving everywhere. We were on the top floor (15) which afforded us a great view of the coastline. Didn't try the pool - winter up here so decided to leave that for another time. The unit has enough for self-catering, but who wants to cook on a break when there is so much nearby. I'll be back.
