Gorgeous rooms, very helpful staff and very accommodating when we were a little late coming in for breakfast. This is our second stay here and my only regret is not spending more time in the pub/hotel to enjoy the atmosphere.

Very clean rooms we was away for a golf competition me and my daughter the Pub food was excellent. Will book again next year for the same competition!!

Although a couple of administrative issues were encountered, these were immediately and appropriately reacted to. Accommodation, food (breakfast and dinner), bar and service all excellent. Lovely traditional rural pub with rooms. Great location close to Windsor and Heathrow.

Did what we needed which was to be a “spare room” for a Christmas family visit. In room 11 which is off the pub carpark so easy to get in and out. Quite a lot of noise from the folks outside the pub until closing time, but didn’t disturb us much. Terrible drain smell when we got back late on the first night but was gone in the morning. Shame we didn’t have time to eat in the pub itself which we know from previous visits is very good.

Service was fantastic - food amazing and the rooms very comfortable!

The staff were amazing from start to finish of our stay , the food was cooked to the highest standard and served by the most friendliest of waitresses . Will definitely be staying here again , many thanks to all at the winning post .

We very much enjoyed the lovely dinner on Sunday evening in the pub. Best English meal I’ve had in a long time. We didn’t care for the small gravel parking and walkways and how difficult it made dragging our luggage to and from the room.

Just a brilliant stay. Fantastic setting, great garden room, beautifully kept environment and super staff. Think I’ll be swapping my regular hotel for here. Food also looks good! Plus dog friendly

Attractive setting, well maintained and recently refurbished in a manner suiting its character. Great service, all staff friendly enthusiastic and helpful. Fantastic dinner. Room clean and hygienic. Ample safe parking Highly recommended

This property was great. The staff and owner were great and very friendly and accommodating.

What a fantastic find. Did see this last month when I was working in Slough for 4 weeks but opted for something a bit closer. In hindsight I should have stayed at the winning post as it has all the comfort of a friendly, homely inn with a superb menu and service. Will Definetly be back

Lovely pub with great rooms! Breakfast was also very affordable!

Room 10 had a strange smell. Think the bathroom extractor fan was not working and the drains need a flush through. Apart from that comfortable room and good breakfast.

Lovely room with lots of good extras. Bed was comfy. The food served in the pub is very tasty and all the staff were friendly.

Really lovely pub and accommodation set in a beautiful area. I would definitely stay there again. Room had tv, DAB radio, cordless phone charger, modern fan. Bathroom great size.
