Location very strategic, near train station. The room interior is kind of old but clean. The washing machine needs to be upgraded, I guess.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Smile Hotel Sugamo! This hotel has complete facilities and really supports the comfort during my trip in Tokyo. The bathroom amenities are very complete, from toothbrush and toothpaste, cotton buds, razors, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand and facial soap, to towels that are changed daily. There is also a refrigerator, a sitting toilet, and a shower with hot and cold water options. What I liked most, this hotel provides a shared facility room with two sets of washing machines and a clothes dryer, so it is very helpful for taking care of clothes while traveling. There is also a microwave for heating food, a vending machine for buying soft drinks, as well as disposable cutlery and chopsticks. The location is also strategic, close to the station, FamilyMart, various eateries, bookstores, and other shops. So, it was not difficult to find food or fulfill daily needs. Overall, this hotel is very comfortable, practical, and has more complete facilities than I imagined. Perfect for travelers who want to explore Tokyo comfortably without having to spend on a luxury hotel. Recommended for a stay in Tokyo! If the opportunity to return to Tokyo, Smile Hotel Sugamo is definitely one of my choices again. 😊✨

The room and bathroom were small, but comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel is also very close to a station on the Yamanote Line.

I stayed at Smile Hotel Sugamo for 6 days and 5 nights, and overall I had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a very strategic location, just a short walk from Sugamo Station on the Yamanote Line. The area is surrounded by many restaurants such as Saizeriya, Ootoya, Matsuya, Gindaco, as well as many izakaya and bars. There is also a FamilyMart right next to the hotel, making it very convenient. Compared to other Yamanote areas, Sugamo feels quieter and less crowded, although it is a bit farther from central Tokyo attractions. The check-in process was smooth and easy. Guests receive complimentary drink coins for the vending machine, and bottled water is also provided in the room. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. For stays longer than three nights, the hotel provides deep cleaning service on the fourth day. Daily amenities such as towels, bath mats, slippers, and tissues were also replaced every day. The hotel has a laundry area on the 8th floor in front of the elevator, as well as parking space in front of the building. One downside was that my room, which faced the roadside, had some dust around the AC, window area, and behind the pillows. Since I have dust allergies, I cleaned some areas myself, but it was still manageable. If you are bringing large or multiple suitcases, I recommend booking a larger room instead of the small double bed room because space can be limited when opening extra-large luggage. However, with good organization, the room is still comfortable enough for a longer stay. If I visit Tokyo again in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again, but probably in a larger room for extra comfort.

The hotel staff is very friendly, we can leave our suitcases at the hotel before checking in and after checking out, the rooms are always clean and comfortable because they are cleaned every day, the hotel equipment and facilities are also complete, the location is very strategic, close to the station, restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, highly recommended👍🏻

This hotel is truly amazing. The price is reasonable, but the amenities are incredibly comprehensive. Everything you need is provided in the room. There's a laundry room and vending machines on the 8th floor. It's a perfect place to stay during your stay in Tokyo, and the hotel's proximity to Sugamo Station makes it easy to access.

The hotel is really close to Sugamo Station, only a 5-minute walk, and the staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly. For sure I will recommend it, and if I visit again, for sure I will stay at Smile Hotel Sugamo again. 🥰😘🤗

Stayed here many times. I caught the most breathtaking sunset view from my room 2008. Two train lines within a 2mins walk. Trust me, you will leave Smile Hotel with a smile. 😊

Kamar seperti di foto. Ranjang kecil untuk 2 orang. Pelayanan ok walau tidak bisa english. Saya tinggal 2 minggu dan tidak ketemu masalah. Saat datang pertama kali saya dikasih kamar yang agak bau rokok walau hotel non smoking. Yah ngga aneh lah karena dibawah ada ruang khusus merokok, bau rokok menempel ke badan bisa terbawa ke kamar. Perlengkapan kamar mandi berupa modul blok set dari TOTO. Foto tidak saya lampir.

The hotel is easy to find, very close to the subway, both JR and Subway and also near the supermarket. Various restaurants are recommended. Very good.

I stayed 3 nights very comfortably at this hotel. Staff extremely friendly, gentle space. The bedroom is not large but there is enough space to feel comfortable after a day of exploring Tokyo quite tired. The hotel is located in an alley close to the 4-meter exit of Sugamo and very close to the entrance of the JR gate, the lane has many attractive eateries but we haven&#39;t had a chance to try it all. Family mart right next. I will definitely come back if I go to Tokyo.
