My stay at Horsley Lodge was fantastic. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff were outstanding . I stayed in the Barn cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough, the same goes for the food that comes out of their kitchen. I have already started to recommend Horsley Lodge to my friends and family.

Beautiful location, excellent and attentive staff. A couple of minor details that could do with attention but, otherwise, very pleased.

Horrendous smell. Foul drains and the kitchen may have been frying in my room the smell was that strong. The walls are paper thin, if someone runs a tap the noise is piercing. Hotel is not manned most of the time. You are given an emergency number on a key ring which is not legible. I had to sleep with my nose covered because the smell was that bad. Staff were unhelpful on checkout. Expedia couldn’t get in touch with the hotel so fobbed me off. Never again

A great place to stay - as a female guest it felt a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay - the grounds are amazing as enjoyed an early morning walk. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have helped me more. The breakfast was excellent and service was great. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if ever I needed a hotel in this area

We thought this was poor value. Small cold room, no hand towels on arrival. Tiny bathroom.

Horsley lodge hotel is set in a lovely picturesque golf course. We enjoyed our stay there, but found our to be very noisy at night, as you could hear footsteps above the room & corridor. However we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning.

A lovely traditional hotel with fantastic food

Albeit the facilities are great, my dinner was questionable and the televisions still haven’t been sorted. You can’t actually watch television as the picture is distorted and glitchy.

The majority of golfers arrive for the day and do not stay overnight. The result being after 9pm, the lodge is very quiet. For some that will be a like or dislike. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay with no complaints. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly.

I had such a pleasent stay here as a solo traveller. The food is excellent and the White Lady cocktail is divine. The view on the terrace with a good book is my idea of self care. Staff were lovely and attentive. Stunning grounds and drive up to the hotel too. The exec room was perfect for me. Thank you for having me!

Lovely staff great large spotless room. Easy check in/check out. Absolutely amazing breakfast. Keep up the good work. Will definitely stay again when we are next up that way.

We had a lovely room with great views. The restaurant was nice and airy with good food and friendly staff. The area is nice with easy parking.
